Replacement
These are not our top picks, but there are still handheld options that we recommend more than others.
MSI Panj 8 AI+for MS 1,000: MSI has fought a roller coaster for a few years with its handheld game consoles, but all deep broken and poor hardware has finally guided the claw 8 AI+, which is a powerful entry. The hardware is beautiful, despite the large size, the button layout is well useful and aerganomic, and the performance is very good. I have enjoyed failing badly Secar And have a lot of Akurin gathered in it Squirrel with a gun. The 1080p screen has a 120 Hz refresh rate and is fast and smooth. Unfortunately, the biggest problem is that it runs Windows. MSI’s center is not intuitive in using M -software, and I have enrolled in some insects where control stops working. The worse thing is, it is difficult to find the console in stock. This is a shame because eventually it is a good MSI handheld, but its high cost and availability cases only make it most mostly inaccessible.
ASUS ROG Allele X for AS 900: The Asos Rogue Elx (6/10, Wired Review) is still not fully controlled by the coming junk with Windows. It does not have as unique and interesting features as Lenovo. But there is one thing that does not have other Windows handhelds: a massive battery. With 80-WH battery, this thing can store more juice than many gaming laptops. This is not just a good. This is important, because Windows burns rapidly through the battery compared to other platforms. It is not enough to arrive yet Nice Battery life, per second, but this is what I will consider acceptable. I got about three hours Dom Eternal And play a little longer Heads II. Any other Windows handheld that I have not experienced (including Lashkar -e -Goo) lasts for a long time, which is a bit sad, but it still makes the best option for the long gaming session.
Nintendo Switch Light for $ 197: Switch light (8/10, wired recommends) is the cheapest version of the switch, but not through a ton. It lacks separate controllers, and you can’t do it to play on your TV. This is especially for portable gaming. If you are fine with it, then you can save a little money with this version, but if you want to play with separate controllers or on your TV – or if you are not sure – then this switch is able to spend a little extra on OLED. I don’t think it’s now able to buy the original switch.
Try the cloud streaming instead of
Instead of buying a new device for gaming on the go, you can use the phone already in your pocket. The latest phones include high resolution and high refreshing OLED panels, excellent battery life, and fast data connections for multi -player or streaming. All these options will provide a lot of support to a proper controller experience. We have a guide with clamps and stand alone with controllers who work with the iPhone and Android, so make sure if you decide to go to the streaming route.

Steam Link (iOS, Google Play): If you have a gaming PC and a sharp internet connection, you can play a game locally and then send them to any device that can run the steam link app. I am really impressed with how easy it is to lift and run this option, and it also has a built -in custom touch control, so you can fire it without any additional hardware. This is my preferred option for gaming on my phone, assuming that I’m just crushing hands Baatro.
Nvidia GeForce now: Cloud was one of the initial options for gaming, and the Jeffers Now (8/10, Wired recommends) PC Gamers is still a great option that doesn’t have the latest hardware. It uses your existing library of sports library from different platforms, but runs them on NVIDIA servers for more permanent performance. There is a free version with one hour session cap, other than other boundaries, but a premium membership allows you to play longer and play more and more while performing more and more.
Xbox Cloud Gaming: Although technically is still in the beta, Microsoft is slowly increasing the Xbox Walls to add PC gamers, and is now streaming. Game Pass Ultimate Subscribers can stream the game pass games on their mobile device. This option has subscription fees and limited games compared to other options, but if you are already on a game pass ultimat, it is worth checking.
Avoid these gaming handhelds
The place is filled with handhelds, and they are not very good. Some of them are so bad that I would argue that no one should buy them at all.
ASUS ROG Allely: The disease of the disease had a lot of potential, but did not get out. It also junk like handheld standards, other handhelds based on Windows, and an irrational low battery life. Updates, since it has come out, has improved the Enough of the ability to join our honorable mention in the past, but now that the pathogene is out -of -X -out – and often no more than the original – it is now difficult to recommend.
Lajtic G Cloud: This handheld, Lajtec, first focused on streaming, pulled out a page from the PlayStation Portal Playbook. Unfortunately, it doesn’t do the same. Starting LT, it is quite expensive at $ 300, as well as membership of streaming services such as Jeffers Now and Xbox Cloud Gaming. It struggles more than other devices I have experienced in streaming games, and its ability to play locally by Android is not very strong.
