It is expected that Samsung’s Ecinos 2600 chip set will soon start the successor of Excenos 2500. The new chip set can be positioned as the company’s next flagship mobile chip set, and it is likely that next year the Galaxy S26 lineup selects different forms. As we wait for the formal disclosure, Samsung has confirmed the new chip set of the house. It is expected that better performance will be provided to compete with the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite General 2.
According to an X -Post by IDC analyst Brian MA (@BMA), Samsung has officially confirmed the Xenos 2600 chip for the first time. The company allegedly revealed during the recent question and answer session that the incoming Ekinos 2600 would be its first flagship chip that was created on the 2nm GAA (Gate All-AS pass) process of the Samsung Foundry. It is said that the chip set provides a significant promotion in the performance of the NPU, compared to “on -device AII functionality”, compared to its predecessor.
Samsung Question and Answer: “Acinos 2600 will be the first flagship chip set on the latest 2nm GAA process (through the Samsung Foundry) … 2600 offers a significant improvement compared to the first version compared to NPU performance.

This information is probably given to Samsung’s Q2 2025 revenue call on Thursday (July 31). In its financial report, the company has confirmed that its foundry business will start mass production of a new mobile sack in the second half of this year using the 2NM GAA process. Samsung also noted plans to increase the use of factory and increase profit by expanding sales to large consumers.
Samsung Ecinos 2600 SOC: So far we know what
Rumors about Ekinos 2600 have been circulating for a while. It is expected that the DRAM as well as a new heat pass block (HPB) connected to the semiconductor package will show better thermal performance. If correct, these improvements can help Samsung stop the sophisticated Snapdragon chip sets compared to power performance and battery performance.
Xinos 2600 was recently seen on the Gack Bench with Model Number S5E9965. The SOC scored 2,155 points in the single -core test and 7,788 points in the multi -core test. It has a 10 -core CPU setup, which rotates at a prime core 3.55GHz, three performance cores contain 2.96GHz, and six cores that work at 2.46GHz.
It is expected that some types of the next Galaxy S26 series will run on the 2600 chip set. The Galaxy S26 Ultra Qualcomm’s Snapdragon is set up with 8 Elite 2 chip sets. For reference, the Galaxy S25 series operates on Snapdragon 8 Elite Civic in all markets and this was a significant change from the Galaxy S24 series, which exhibited the Galaxy S24 in the selected markets and the Xinos 2400 SOC for the Galaxy S24+ model.
