Chat GPT is a feature that allows users to make their conversation with a chat boot and share it with friends or colleagues. According to a report, some of these joint discussions were discovered when inquiring on search engines like Google Search, Bang, or Dick Dickgo. Seeing these conversations, allegedly need to filter search results in a particular chat GPT domain. Open said that this is part of an experimental feature, which is now inactive.
Private Chat GPT has been discussed by search engines
First viewed by the Fast Company, it appears that if a domain filter runs a search inquiry with any text with “Site: Chat GPT.com/Share”, it shows a list of different conversation links with chat boot. During the interrogation, the publication was able to land more than 4,500 chats, though the actual number of discovered conversations could be far greater.
Most conversations are not involved in personal details or information that can be used to identify individuals. However, others were asked to explain the names, locations and personal details of consumers. The Tech Crunch was based on the level of conversation where a user wanted to rewrite his experience list for a specific job application. The publication was able to find the LinkedIn account of the person based on common information.
Open’s Chief Information Security Officer, Dan Stoki, resolved the issue in a post on X (previously known as Twitter). The executive said it was due to an experimental feature that is designed to help people discover useful conversations. Available for Chat GPT users subset, under this feature, users needed to make their conversation link and then choose to share it publicly. The feature has now been disabled. The CISO also shared a photo of this interface.

Stoki added that security and privacy are important for the open, and recognizing that this feature “introduced many opportunities for people to distribute things that they did not intend,” it was eventually eliminated. In addition, the executive claimed that Openi was already working to remove the indexed content from the relevant search engines. In particular, at the time of writing, members of the gadget 360 staff could not level such a conversation.
