Sage Lux Brever Thermal: two -minute review
If you enjoy drip coffee, this machine should be in the upper part of your list. Solded under the brand name in the UK under Sage, and Breweel, Lux Brever Thermal, is a compact machine that performs the basics very well, while also offers a set of carefully created specialty options, yet things never make things unnecessarily complicated.
As the name suggests, one of the standout features of Lux Brever thermal is its insulated carfi, which I have used the best ever. All the companies claim that their dual -wall carfields will keep your fresh drinks warm for hours, but it really does so. Even after four hours of drinking, the outside of the jug was cool and the maximum temperature was left to drink the inside, yet half the amount of heat (their heat is even better).
Want to wake up to freshly cooked coffee? There is also a delay in the timer, which can be easily configured in a couple of seconds.
The removable water tank is another excellent feature, and it is easy to lift refilling in the sink. When it comes to the kitchen counter, there is no more struggle to pour water into your machine. The only negative aspect is that the tank handle is very small and especially not aergonomic, though it is quite minor.
The handles on the caravism and basket assembly are much stronger, and the machine is provided with flat bottle and cone -shaped filters to depend on how far you are planning to prepare. A simple printed guide will help you choose the appropriate form, as well as measure the maximum amount of ground coffee and water.
You can adapt to hot wine making options (including alcohol time and temperature) or try your coffee badly for 24 hours for a more sweet and sweet taste.
There is nothing more complicated here – just the basic principles are very well hanged. If you are a filter fan, you will not be disappointed.

Sage Lux Brever Thermal (known as Breville Lux Brever Thermal outside the UK) launched in June 2025 with a list of 9 349.95 / £ 249.95. It is not sold in Australia at the time of writing, but will soon be available in AU $ 579. You will find the best deals listed below.
In the United States, Lux Brever Thermal launches with Lux Brever Glass, which (as his name shows) comes with a glass jug instead of insulated carfi. Lux Brever Glass is a bit cheaper, at $ 319.95.
This is the same price for American coffee drinkers, like a fellow Eden Prabdan Coffee Company, which costs 5 365. Eden has some sophisticated features such as automatic water temperature adjustment and bloomtime, which has a lack of Lux Brever thermal. However, in my experience, Eden does not have such a conspiracy car. During the tests, within an hour, the one found with Eden began to get colder.
In the UK, Eden Lux is much more expensive than the thermal thermal, with a list of 5 365.

Sage Lux Brever Thermal: Design
Sage Lux Brever Thermal is a smart, modern -looking drip machine that has a clean metal finish and amazingly small image (only 14.7 x 7 inch / 37.24 x 17.7 cm), which makes the compact kitchen a good option. If you like to have a drip machine along with your aspirusted maker, but they were wondering how to fit it, this could be the best solution.
One of its best features is a removable water tank, which you can easily take into the sink. It makes it easier to fill without spilling and spraying. The tank has a small handle on the side that is so large to loop the finger. It helps remove the tank from the machine, but after filling it is not enough to support its weight, so you will need to help the tank with your other hand.

Consumers with mobility problems, it can be good if the tank had a large, more aergonomic handle like the baskets and people on the cafe, which is both strong and easy to carry (even when the café is full).
Lux Brever Thermal Water Strike Test Test Strip (the results are used for the initial setting of the machine) and a water filter that connects the adapter and pushes the tank under the tank. Most filter machines I have experienced do not come with the filter, so this is an additional honor.
The machine comes with two filter baskets. The instructions warn you that you either use paper filters or mesh, but both are not together. Consects filter papers are readily available from supermarkets, so I don’t think this is a problem that is not supplied.
Lux Brever Thermal is available in several different colors, though your options will depend on where you buy it. In the UK, it is only available in stainless steel. But in the United States, coffee fans can also choose black turfals, sea salt (white), Demson Blue, and olive tipinide. When it launches in Australia, it will be available in stainless steel and Black Turfals.
Sage Lux Brever Thermal: Performance
Sage Lux Brever is extremely easy to set up and use. You start using a water test strip to determine the hardness of your tap water. Then soak the water in the water for five minutes, fit the adapter, and turn it into the bottom of the water tank. Then you will be able to configure the water stiffness over the machine over time, which will be used for delayed function. Allow it to ride a fast rinse, and you are ready to be ready.
The printing instructions provided with the machine are quite basic, which reflects IKEA style, but there are many detailed directions online, which will cover u uncertain about it.
The use of Lux Brever thermal is very self -explanatory, especially than a chart that states how much water and ground coffee is to use when drinking a certain number of cups, whether the cones or flat bottle is used.

Once you prepare a pot, the machine display will show how long it was made, which is easy for more than one drinking household.
I also like its big, argonomic -designed handle, which meets the wine cart assembly, and makes it easy to carry and put on completion.
The default settings worked very well with my fresh bought and ground beans, but if you do not have enough taste for your taste, the choice of “customs” option is the volume you have to open (the ground for pre -infusion, the heat of the temperature, the amount of hot water, and the amount of hot water at a time).
Sage Lux Brever Thermal is also able to run cold, but you may not be able to see this option on the first screen. The reason for this is that the coffee needs to be erected in the basket for 24 hours, and the maximum capacity in the basket is four cups. If the machine tank has too much water, it will not be offered.
Before the cold runs, you will be indicated to remove the lid from the carf so that the water remains in the liquor basket, and the timer counting will begin. Once the expiry of 24 hours, you can position the lid cafe to release your mixture. As you expect that the colder has made the traditional way, the taste is pleasant round and rich, enough to have a more sweet profile than a hot warm.
It is easy, but like all the features of this machine, it is very well implemented. Although there is a choice of customization options, there are no unnecessary french. Drip should not be complicated enough, and with Lux Brever thermal, it is not.

How did I experience Sage Lux Brever Thermal
I used Sage Lux Brever thermal with tap water and water filter provided, in which the machine was set on the sort of water rigidity. I used fresh coffee from local roster (a mixture of Brazilian and Colombia), immediately from using. Ground in the first house.
I used the machine on its default hot brewing settings, then tested the options, including the Bloom temperature, Bloom Time, and the mixture, adjusting the options. I also used the delayed function to prepare the first thing in the morning, and used a cold -driven function several times, comparing the taste of the coffee prepared.
After preparing a batch of hot coffee, I tested the temperature every hour with the thermometer of the chef to find out how well the carav was maintained.
