The gaming company pointed to preliminary demands on Friday, saying that Nintendo sold more than six million units of Switch 2 in seven weeks after its beginning of June.
US President Donald Trump’s trade war was sold for the success of the hit home portable switch, which examined Nintendo’s supply chain management.
“Six million units sold are evidence of incredible paint -up demand for updating the switch,” said Sarkin Toto, founder of the Connective Games Consultancy.

Kyoto -based Nintendo said that operating profit increased by 4 % to 56.9 billion (8 378 million, or about 3,3307 million rupees) in April to June, defeating analysts’ estimates.
It states that US tariff measures and other changes in the market environment have not had a significant impact on its current income forecast.
The switch was launched on June 5 with titles, including the Mario Cart World and upgraded the Legend of Zeelda series with better graphics.
Nintendo sold 8.67 million switch 2 software units with Mario Cart World during the quarter.
Donkey Kong bana was released on July 17 and has a score of 92 out of 100 on the Matacritic, which indicates universal definition.
“Nintendo should use this year’s speed and the absence of blockbuster GTA 6 this year to take Switch 2 this year to the holidays.”
Grand theft Auto VI needed to launch this year and it was expected that consoles like Sony’s PlayStation 5 would be promoted but its release was delayed in 2026.
Nintendo’s shares closed 0.75 % ahead of revenue and this year a A -third increased.
