One Plus is the next phone on the conveyor belt for one of the 15 cold phone makers, and the rumor mills seem to be quite interesting so far, though I can see how many people can label them as a “controversial downgrade”.
Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 Power House has made a booking, and is allegedly not equal to the speed of the OnePlus display, 7,000 MAHCCCCC battery, and IP 68/69 is slightly lowering battery life for resistance to “1.5K”.
Don’t start me with the death of the 3way switch, I’m still not more.
However, so far there is a word in the rumors that fills me with hope and Oppo can eventually be conscious of them and get rid of one of the rising design features of their devices, which has long been a minor grip for me.
Quad stages screens need to go
Recently, I talked about curved screens and wandered about the final nail in their coffin, yet some manufacturers are still partially intact. Certainly, there are many and completely non -practical slopes left but have gone (except for some motorLola phones that can’t yet get a memo), but companies like One Plus, Oppo, and Xiaomi still go to all the edges of the phone, which they call the quad -affected glass.
It seems good in rendeters and concepts, low in real life, and adds more problems than curves value.
Although every phone with curved screen is different, I experienced some small but growing problems when I was using the OnePlus 13 flagship as a daily drive.
Finding a good screen protector for such a screen is usually missed and not hit. Pre -installed the movie is terrible, and if you think it will provide real protection from real loss, you are kidding yourself.
In addition, the space between the screen and your case catchs gram, like dust and crazy, which is a small but real problem.
Finally, the curvy letters can be all except the end, but they still catch all the glare from nearby light sources and the sun.
Although I admit that it feels good when you swipe through a slightly curious crust instead of a flat phone, but the negatives are much more than this modest honor to me.
OnePlus should follow the lead of these Android flagships
Yes, we often associate the word “copy” with a negative meaning in the smartphone world, where phone manufacturers usually slow down doing so.
However, in the case of the upcoming One Plus 15, I give the company a free pass to “copy” all the super premium flagships that come with complete flat screens empty from any curved letters.
In fact, Samsung has been giving flat screens for the past two generations, which completely eliminated all and any display curved letters on its ultra phones. The overall use of this simple move is the major tension of the overall use: no glare, no past touching, just a complete flat and fully usable screen that is happy to use, especially with S pen. This galaxy is completely accurate for S25 ultra. More related parent company Oppo is the latest and excellent flagship, yet only China’s Oppo has got the X8 ultra, which has a completely flat screen, no curved posts are allowed. Therefore, OnePlus has a great blueprint about what One Plus 15 should struggle.
Conclusion
I cannot say that we have achieved such perfectionism on modern phones, which will be the final final touch to eliminate small curves on the screen of some phones.
Still, to me, this is a minor problem that can improve my overall experience, and I imagine many others will share these emotions.
