Vodafone Idea (VI) is sending 17 constituencies and 23 new cities to nine new cities as part of its extension efforts. With the rollout, the telecom service provider (TSP) is also offering unlimited Rs 5G data. 299, which is an introductory offer. TSP said its users in these cities can also access high definition streaming, gaming, video conferencing, faster downloads and real -time clouds. It comes weeks after the TSP announcement that she is serving her 5g services in Mysore, and a month after her rollout in Bangalore.
VI launched 5g services in nine new cities
In a series of press release, VI has announced that it is offering 5G services in nine new cities, which are Meerut, Malpuram, Kozcode, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Nashik, Ahmedabad, Rajkot, Surat, and Wadodara. Although the majority of these nine cities are from Gujarat, the list includes two cities from Kerala, two from Maharashtra, and one from Uttar Pradesh. The service is currently living in all the new cities, besides merit, where it will be directly from tomorrow.
The latest development brings a total number of cities where VI 18 offers 5G services. The rollout company is part of the ongoing efforts to increase its 5G coverage in 23 cities and 17 priority constituencies. The company already offers 5G services in Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bangalore, Mysore, Nagpur, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Sonapat and Patna. Therefore, VI can soon start rolling 5g in the remaining five cities.
Along with the rollout, VI has also announced an introductory offer, with which it is providing unlimited 5G data to its customers, which starts with Rs. 299. The company also said that its users in newly involved circles can access high definition streaming, gaming, video conferencing, faster downloads and real -time clouds.
In addition, India’s third largest TSP, VI, has also announced that it has contributed with Nokia and Erickson to deploy infrastructure and implement AI-active self-organizing networks (SON) to improve network performance in different cities. The company has also upgraded its 4G network in Gujarat, Maharashtra, Kerala and Uttar Pradesh to offer better network coverage and speed data.
