As you may have heard, the Vanilla Galaxy S model is going away – and this is the good news as it will be replaced by a more capable pro model. What can we expect improvement? A large battery for starters.
The Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro will have a battery with 4,300mAh normal capacity. It will be more than S25 and S24 more than 300mah and 400mah more than S23.
Galaxy S25 has only 4,000 mAh battery capacity
The S26 Pro code is M1 and it will have a model number SM-S942. We have heard that 50MP Icel GN3 sensors will be replaced (it was used in S23, S24 and S25), but this cannot be upgraded. For example, Icel GN5, a 50MP 1/1.56 “sensor that has 1.0ographer pixels – is not very different from GN3. However, GN5 has improved the performance of auto -focuses and has introduced the deep trench isolation of the front in a double pixel sensor – you are not aware of the sensor upgrade resolution.
As reported earlier, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Age (M2, SMS 947) will also get 4,200mAh normal capacity, 300mAh more battery collision. And it will be thin than the current 5.8 mm model.
You can’t help but wonder if these new batteries will be pairing with a charging speed upgrade. We have heard that the Galaxy S26 ultra will eventually rise above 45W – up to 60Ws all over the way. However, it may be or may not be upgraded in capacity – some sources claim that 10 % of the collision with 5,500mAh, others say it will remain in 5000mAh.

We have not heard about charging upgrade in the S -26 Pro and S26 Edge and given their battery capabilities – similar to Z Philip 7 (4,300mAh) and Z Fold 7 (4,400mah), both of which are closed to 25W – we do not expect a change in anything. However, we would not mind being surprised.
