OLED VS Mini-LED is a war that has been going on for a few years. While LG, Sony and Panasonic are sitting firmly in the O LED camp, Samsung, Hesens and TCL have kept their confidence in Mani. Blessed, most of these brands have both TV types, but it is clear which one is in favor of everyone.
Samsung and LG are some of the best TV makers, and you will regularly find Samsung on the top of our best mini -led TV list and LG in the upper part of the best O LED TV. I recently tested the Samsung QN80F and gave it four stars in my review, the main reason for this is due to its average sound quality, reflection screen and sometimes contradictory pictures. I had the opportunity to evaluate LG’s highest admission level OLED: LG B5 as well. Although these TVs are sitting in different locations in their own lineups, they are priced similarly, with 55 -inch QN 80F, 1,299 / £ 1,199 and $ 1,299 / £ 1,399 in 55 -inch B5.

So, how can the QN80F rent the ‘most cheap’ in the market against 2025 OLED, and which TV is worth it?
Colorful affected me

Both Samsung and LGTV have unusual color reproduction, in which the colors on the Samsung mini -led models usually look bright and nest, and the LG Olds look deep and more rich. Keeping the QN80F mini with the LG B5, it was once again the case.
By setting both TVs on my film photo methods, I saw the view of 4K Blu -ray and I. EastAnd B5 showed bold and more attractive colors. Pink flowers, blue details on the walls and uniforms, and the green skin of the alphabet look more obvious on all B5, mainly due to the strong contrast of the B5. The colors were still bright and dynamic on the QN80F with the same scene, but they were not so deep.
The results of the UHDA-P3 color gaming on both TVs resulted in the results of 93.05 % on the Samsung QN80F and 99.5 % on the LG B5, so it is not surprising that the B5 had the edge when it was talked about the colorful depth and the detail.
Sparkle and reflection

Brightness is the place where Samsung QN80F wins a bigger. Although mini -led traditionally is a bright display technology compared to OLED, flagship OLEDs like the LG G5 and Samsung S95F have developed a lot of promoting OLED shine, in which both have targeted more than 2,000 nuts. But, then, these precious TVs use new, advanced OLED panels (QD-run on S95F, and ‘four stacks’ OLED on the LG G5.
The LG B5 uses a standard W -led panel, and when it comes to brightness, it shows. When I measured the top HDR shine of B5, it targeted 668 nits in Movie mode, while Samsung QN 80F entered 1,106 nits in the same mode. One thing that could not be neglected in my comparison was how reflecting on the screens Both There were TVs. Despite their struggle with a very reflective screen and bright room on the two TVs, they often show a decent opposite in the environment. Both B5 and QN80F have a strong feature set, especially the new versions of the Gaming and the new version of the Smart TV platform of Samsung and Samsung. But both TVs will need an excellent sound bar to provide cinema experience at home, so my comparison comes to the picture standard.
The QN80F brightness wins a big win, but I could not help but prefer the B5’s overall picture during the test. Its high colors, dark black and more realistic textures gave it the edge. If I had the money to spend, I would choose LG B5.
