All kinds of actions are included outside the box. You can add calendar appointments and reminders and set timers. You can send text messages or start fee time calls. You can even set a dedicated keyboard shortcut for any of these processes.
This is also the same thing that, so far, Ray Cast has not done this spotlight. The difference is one of the implementation. Apple’s approach currently works only with Mac applications that implement the spotlight feature. Right now, it is primarily limited to Apple’s own tools, but it is about to change. According to Apple’s offer for developers, third -party applications will also be able to add movements that are effective within the spotlight. I couldn’t find any non -Apple applications that currently implement it, but I am sure that when we approach the fall, it will change.

Meanwhile, the ray cast can be extended by expanding the user’s construction that you can easily install from the built -in store. There is a negative aspect of this, mostly that if you want to connect an application, you have to install and form yourself. This is not difficult, though the built -in store offers hundreds of them, and you can install them with some strokes. This extension can also connect with any service, not only those who have Mac Apps, ie, only support web services like Google Documents. Many of these extended features that will never do the spotlight, such as the Customs menu bar image for things like calendar appointments or spathests currently playing. I could go; Ray cast point is more flexible.
Right now, Power Consumers, I think the cast is a good choice. This may change because more applications increase support for the spotlight, though, especially, given the fact that users do not need to install or set anything to achieve new abilities in the spotlight.
An original clipboard manager
Windows has a clipboard manager for years – just press Windows- v And you will see a list of everything you have recently copied. There are always many third -party applications that provide you with a more powerful clipboard on Mac, including the cast.
The new McCouse update adds this feature to the spotlight, making it easier to go back and finding what you copied earlier today. This is a feature of the kind that you don’t realize until you start relying on it, and I’m glad Micros finally offers it.
Ray Cast does not do the spotlight that does not

With these new features, the spotlight is more powerful than ever, but this is not a one -ray cast alternative. The biggest benefit to the ray cast is higher than the spotlight, at this point, the ray cast store, which makes the launcher more compatible with the spotlight with applications and services, which will last a long time.
But there are other features. Ray can manage the cast windows, which can allow you to set the keyboard shortcut for things like robbing the window left or right on the left or right. It contains a built -in Inkupat Manager, which allows you to save things that you re -type permanently, so you can paste them quickly. There is also a disturbing blocker tool called Fox. Richast has added all kinds of features in many years, which were the popular bits of dedicated software, and Apple is unlikely to copy them all.
The Ray Cast Team, for your part, is not worried about the new better spotlight. In a post on Thomas Paul Mann, the CEO of the X Company, new features will give users the taste of application such as Ray Cast. He wrote, “People will go to the limits and want more from the launcher, where we step.”
I am not sure how true it is, but I’m looking forward to seeing how everything develops. I, for one, will probably use both options for a while and see what I prefer.
