The Samsung Galaxy S26 ultra can significantly come with a sharp charging support, as has been revealed by a tipter that cites leaked firmware online. This will be a significant upgrade from Samsung’s current Galaxy S25 ultra, which offers only 45W fast charging support. The new leak is in accordance with the previous tip, which states that the phone can come up with charging fast. However, the phone was previously offered 65W charging and 5,500mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra can support rapidly charging
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Tipster Ernicon Elmaz (@Arnilmaz 075) suggested that the rumored Samsung Galaxy S26 can support 60W Fast Charging. He saw the details in the firmware of an UI version in the future, which is said to be an UI 8.5. If the aforementioned specification is correct, it would mean that South Korean tech giant could either try to compensate to either increase battery capacity or to give a slight larger battery size.
However, the rumor was indicated to the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra with 65W fast charging support and 5,500 mAh battery. However, contrary to this claim, a tipter also suggested that Samsung may not pack a high -capacity battery. Therefore, upgraded fast charging support can be a way to compensate for a South Korean tech company. Since Samsung has not confirmed any explanation of the handset, it is difficult to know what way the company will go.
The latest firm of One UI 8.5 (based on Android 16) also revealed recently that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra could be strengthened by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 SOC, which is expected to be unveiled in September this year.
It is expected that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will be launched early next year. It can showcase 16 GB RAM, 6.9 -inch touch screen, and IP68 water and dust resistance.
