I used to review heavy laptops, so taking the LG gram 17 is a good change of speed as it is so thin and light. If you often like to travel or work outside, you will appreciate how easy it is to travel with this laptop. Unfortunately, plastic fueling chassis, which allows LG gram 17 to become so light, can feel cheap in your hands.
Although I am not affected by the chassis and the price is low, the new LG gram is a total good tool for people in search of 17 -inch Windows laptop with strong performance and reliable battery life. I will explain why in my full review?

LG gram 17 (2025) is an unusual lightweight laptop that is tailored to work on the go. It also includes a 17 -inch large display, strong Intel -core ultra performance and extraordinary battery life.

LG gram 17 cannot weigh gram, but it is still very light. Certainly, 3.2 pounds of 15 -inch MacBook Air M4 is only lighter, but the LG notebook also feels light even looking at its 14.9 x 10.1 x 0.7 inches size. This is the lighter 17 -inch laptop.

In addition to the “gram” logo standing in the back, this laptop is free of any ornaments. Although not all black chassis is more to see, it is still beautiful. Chassis has a slightly rough structure that makes it easy to hold laptops, though it easily catchs fingerprints.

Speaking of YouTube videos, I was impressed how the latest fantastic four trailer is dynamic on a 17 -inch display. Although it has been said that the display is not OLED, its excessive color color shows everything crisp and bright. I have seen better laptops display, but it’s not disappointed.

Our lab tests are consistent with my story experience. As you can see, the LG gram can be bright despite the HDR deficiency. The colorful reproductive (SRGB and DCI-P3) exceed the decisive limit as it is 100 % ahead of the target. Color accuracy (Delta-A) is not excellent, but it will not make much difference for most people.
This laptop touch screen is impressive, even competing for the best bullets. It feels smooth and intuitive to drag and drag. I don’t use much of touch screens on the laptop, but this is a good feature for everyone who wants touch control (or prefer).

LG’s laptop performed well in our lab tests. At Gack Bench 6, which examines the performance of the overall CPU, LG Gram 17 scored a decent and multi -core performance in a decent way. The Samsung Galaxy Book 5 Pro, which also has a luminous lake chip, scored better in the multi -core section of the test, but the single core is effectively identical. However, the 14 -inch MacBook Pro, which runs from M4, improves both.

According to LG, the laptop’s chassis is made up of aluminum alloy, which is interesting to consider how it feels like plastic.
