tl; drag
- It seems that T -Mobile is automatically converting some of the heritage consumers to projects starting on August 13, in addition to GO5G, and claims that it comes at no extra cost.
- This change mostly affects Migranta Max users, including some T -Mobile One Plan.
- Although it is said that advantage and pricing remain the same, there are concerns that it affects the guarantee of old pricing locks. There is no way to opt out.
In 2023, T -Mobile received a ton of flick on announcement that it would soon replace some of its heritage users on new, more expensive projects. Within weeks, the company changed its position between growing complaints, claiming that the move was just a test. Two years later, it seems that the company is once again.
Many T -Mobile users have taken Reddate to round up for complaints about a new email. The message informs recipients about the change of plan to implement the August 13th. In short, the affected users will see their existing project into Go5G Plus. At least this time it has become clear that the upgrade is “without any extra cost”.
I have contacted T -Mobile to find out more, but it seems that it’s not more than just a rumor, as the company now has an official page on its website that describes the change. Here is what we know here, such as diving in various reddate posts, such as formal_kot 3811.
- This change is primarily targeting Migranty Max users, though several alleged T -Mobile employees claim that some T -Mobile One projects may also be affected. For example, some users with a plan and a plus promo have reported that the email has been reported.
- There is no official way to get out of change, though some users suggest that the T Force Support Switch can change your account on a different project.
- Alerts and emails show that upgrade will not change your monthly rate. T -Mobile says users will currently keep all free lines, exemptions, streaming facts, and any other benefits active.
On paper, the upgrade doesn’t look so bad. Planning people like Manjata Max will maintain all the same compensation by getting better phone deals, better hotspot data, and some other additions. The biggest concern is how it can affect users with old version of price lock guarantee. It is very likely that the current price lock concerns will not be eliminated – though there are still speculations.
It is clear that T -Mobile is doing everything possible to sunset the old projects and the promises that come with them. For those who are especially trapped with T -Mobile because of these legacy plans, the latest move can eventually be the last trash. Where do you stand?
What do you think about the forced upgrade plan of T -Mobile?

I don’t like the idea of forced changes, even if they are better.

I am fine with it, unless we lose any benefits.

I am mixed about it, mostly because I am not sure that there will be no other goths here.
