Techno Noor and Cyberpank have been growing in science fiction for decades, especially in films. Films connecting the dark webs and amazing perspective of the film man, with the settings of the future dysteopian settings that are bent in a world where technology has blurred the lines between humanity and machines. In the 90s, the matrix was a breakout hit for this genre, but there were powers that flew down the radar on the occasion of release.
One of my ignorant favorite is the Dark City, which is a twist-minded techno-Noor thriller, which looks for the idea of identifying the background of the city trapped in the dark. Released in 1998, the Undertier Money was run for a year before the matrix, and it is currently running free on Toby.

I have been a fan of Techno Noor Wabis since watching the blade runner for the first time, and the 90s provided the best options, which gives me my eyes on beautiful sets, amazing stories and worlds that feel real and passionate in the best ways.
The Dark City provides a future city, which includes shadows, which have companies like automotives, or clothing design since the 1950s, and this is a style that I can’t get enough.
A man wakes up in a bathtub who does not remember who he is or how he got there. Almost Immediately immediately. That is, things go away from the trains. There is a dead woman in the next room, a secret phone call that our unknown main character has been asked to leave, and a mystery that opens in the dark streets of the city. John Marduk said who was slowly in connection with the crowds, like his name in a lead in the motel and his briefcase.
When he tries to know what happened, he is staring at two sides. Police Inspector Frank Boomsted is trying to open the case of dead prostitutes, which is leading him to life. And then the mysterious “strangers”.
Stranger
These are long, light men who are apparently capable of changing the truth through “tuning”. John is surrounded by strangers, but manages to change the truth and avoid their clutches in a moment of frustration.
Immediately after that, the clock hit the midnight, and he sees that everyone in the city sleeps, and uses their mysterious abilities to change the architecture of the alien city themselves.
When John tries to recover his memories, he remembers that he is from a small town called Shell Beach outside the city. However, any attempt to reach it ends in failure. At this point, John was arrested by the inspector, who believes when he explains that there is something strange in the city and uses his ability to prove it.
The environment, set design, and overall cinema in the Dark City makes every frame valuable. 100 minutes of length is influenced by mystery, drama and more questions. Strangers and inspectors, a local doctor, who have information about strangers and where they come from, and the city changes and trapped everyone in their streets.
When you find out what is really after that, and seeking answers, they will not spoil the third process for you when they use the way they use. When John begins to expose the mystery within which he awakens, matters really go there. The killings, ammonia and the city are all connected by strangers, and once you know what happened, you do not have to go back.
Dark City reached the classic status with good reason. Although this box may not be a hit at the office, it is still a wonderful watch after 27 years. This is one of the science -Fi films that I get every time, and the cast performs a high performance. Make it free on Toby, and discover the mystery for yourself.
