I am glad to show that the ‘Ice Cub truck’ actually worked. When I wondered what happened to my carpet, it was completely flat and there was no real mess for me to clean.
I was glad that I used the kitchen towels, though down, because the water had passed, but it was easy to lift and to dispose of it. Now, I have three more corners to try it and with the coming move, I wonder if I use ice cubes to remove carpet tents behind my furniture … Destructive warning, this happens!
