Thunderbolt 5 is a part of modern laptop lineups, whether we are ready or not. TB5 has an abundance of incredible speed, excellent reliability, and other features that make it the best. However, if your laptop has Thunderbolt 5, why don’t you want your docking station to help it so that you can benefit from all speed?
Ivanki’s Fusion Post Pro 3 is a single dock with two styles. They have a tower design and deck design. The tower is designed to stand upright, like the old Nintendo Wii. And the deck style looks like every other docking station you can think about.
I grabbed the deck model as it would be better fit in my workplace area. This model includes three Thunderbolt 5 ports, laptops, 140W charging, a 2.5GBE network, multiple USB-A ports, an SD card reader, and a port to connect to the headphone jack. Overall, it adds 11 ports to your MacBook Pro, Dell Pro, Lenovo, or any other laptop you have.
Like the best docking stations supporting TB5, one thing to note is that you can use this dock with any USB-C-capable device. However, you will not be able to function at full speed unless the Thunderbolt 5 port is available in your machine.

Ivanky Fusion Duke Pro 3: Inboxing and first impression
Fusion Postro has a simple -looking device. However, it feels sufficient and durable with a weighty feeling. In addition, metal casing gives him a strong feeling, suggesting that it can compete with some hit and confrontation without any break.
One thing that surprised me was the size of the electric brick, but then, it can generate electricity up to 140W on my laptop, so I should not be surprised that it has a heavy electric brick.

Fusion Dok Pro 3 has a simple, matte metal shell that is in front and back of the matte black plastic, housing in the ports. The sequence of the port is straight and thought through it. Although my personal preference for desk setup determines whether I prefer to live in front of the dock or in the back of the computer, it is in front.
In front of the dock, we have (left to right) power button, some indicator lights, 140W port for a laptop or computer, a TB5 port, a USB-A port, SD card reader, and then the headphone jack. All of this has a lot of meaning to be easily accessible to the front, and I’m happy to see the TB5 in the front section. Many posts are only hidden in the back.
The back of the dock has three USB-A ports, one RJ45 port, two TB5 ports, and then a barrel connector line. I am not a fan of barrel contacts, so I understand why some posts still use them.
Some other features include rubber pads below the dock, which help prevent sliding, and several ventilation holes that keep this device cool while they are working hard.
Ivanky Fusion Duke Pro 3: In use
I have recently purchased an M4 Pro MacBook Pro, which features the TB5 port, which has made me more excited to try this docking station. In addition, I have a thunderbolt 5 in the thunderstorm (reviews coming soon) for a handful of laptops. In my test, I was able to move the files back and forth with my laptop and my Synology Besation as well as the files between my Synology DS925+.
I was able to set up a whole work station through a dock, without feeling that I was losing anything. I tested a triple monitor setup with a single monitor setup, double monitor setup, and, using one of the laptops I had, even with this dock. I had to use an adapter for one of the monitors, however, which is an important thing to note.
This docking station, since it does not have an HDMI or DP port, will require an adapter to connect the non-USB-C display. Many new monitors are synchronized, but if this is not new, you will need to get a display port from USB-C HDMI or USB-C adapter or Dongal.
During the test, especially when you run a triple display or transfer large files, the docking station was a bit hot, but it never got too hot, nor did it activate any fans or any other similar procedure. Seeing this little dock does a lot, and what did not feel possible at this speed were impressive.

The Ivanka Fusion Dok Pro 3 is an impressive Thunderbolt 5 docking station, which is available at a very new price with the latest technology. If you do not need Thunderbolt 5, a different, high cost efficient dock can be better suitable for you. However, if your computer has Thunderbolt 5 and you need to maximize the transfer speed, then this is an amazing choice for you at the docking station.
