Open is allegedly planning to release its next Frontier Artificial Intelligence (AI) model, GPT5, in August. According to the report, there will be three different types of model, including twenty variations as well as nano and mini variations. Not much is known about the upcoming flagship model of the AI firm based in San Francisco. However, it is said that the GPT5O series will mark the end of the model. Openi is planning to unite both the GPT series and the O -Series into a joint model that is worth local argument.

GPT -5 will have a structural reasoning mode

Rumors about the GPT5 model have been wandering over the past year, when it was believed that a large language model (LLM) was being manufactured under code name Orion. However, it turned out to be wrong, and found that the Orion code name was for GPT -4.5, which arrived in February.

That same month, Open CEO Sam Altman shared a roadmap for GPT5 in a post on X (previously known as Twitter). He said that GPT 4.5 was the last non -chain thinking model (COT) model, and all the future models of the GPT series will know locally when to think for a long time.

The Ultman also said that the users at the Chat GPT’s free level of GPT will have access to the GPT5 on the standard intelligence setting, while Plus and Pro users will have high levels of intelligence. The CEO added that the model will also have access to each of the open AI tools, including sound, canvas, search, deep research and more.

However, since this announcement, we have not heard much about the potential release date for GPT5. Recently, Alexander V, a member of the Open Technical Staff, said in an X post that “we are releasing GPT5 soon.” Now, according to Verge, this release date can be soon next month.

Referring to unknown sources familiar with the company’s plans, the publication highlights that the GPT5 will be issued after the company issued its planned open source model. It is said that GPT -5 also gets a variety of nano and mini. The report added that out of them, twenty models and mini models will also be available through both GPT and API, while Nano will be available only through API.
