Ever feel like your search results are the wall of blue links in a random order? Google knows all the algorithms already tried to feed you to the most relevant links, but now it is taking a step forward to rank your results. People who have signed up for search labs can already try it.
As a new Google Blog Post explains, the company has launched a new search labs feature called Web Guide. It uses AI to group your search results in the category, starting with users who choose under the web tab. Google says it can eventually spread to all tabs, which are subject to testing.
We say you find “how to find how to travel in Japan”. Instead of a long list of web pages, the web guide can break it into parts such as “Comprehensive Guides for Solo Travel in Japan” and “Solo Travelers Personal Experiences and Indications”. The idea appears that if your open search does not fully tell what kind of content you are after, the consequences categories make it easier to improve the type of responses in your mind.
The web guide is called Gemini’s customs version and a “inquiry fan out”, which basically means a group of relevant searches in the background of more relevant results. This is the only point behind the AI mode, which also uses Gemini to increase the results of how the results are presented.
The new feature inspected by you, you can go back to the look of regular results whenever you want, though Google says it is slowly planning to run this AI organized layout in other fields of search.
