One Plus launched the One Plus 13S in India last month, and when the phone offers strong species in a compact size, some initial buyers are already reporting screen problems. According to the user post on the Reddate, their new One Plus 13s developed the green line on the display shortly after the purchase.
The Reddate user, who posted as U/Blackarow3839, said the green line appeared for a few seconds and then disappeared. However, it returned the next day and the phone continued to resume. Even they recorded the matter as soon as it happened.
When they took the phone to the OnePlus Service Center, the support team allegedly said the video was not acceptable because it did not show the phone’s IMEI number. Instead of offering alternatives, the staff collected the system log and asked the customer to wait a few more days and monitor it.

This has raised concerns, especially seeing that One Plus has a 15 -day hard window for product changes. The Reddest user raised a correct question: What happens if the problem is repeated after this deadline? Unfortunately, the answer they received was that the company could not do anything because of its policy.
However, One Plus introduced a lifetime display warranty in 2024 for Green Line issues. This should allow technically affected consumers to set their display without any cost, though this is not clearly smooth.
Particularly on this phone is disappointing to look at such a defect that is so new. Although such display issues are not yet large, some reports may be sufficient for potential buyers to raise red flags.
For unfamiliar people, OnePlus 13s is a device that packs a lot in a small package. It is mainly a regional form of the upcoming One Plus 13T, which includes 6.32 inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Chip, and 12GB Ram. Although it has a small battery of 5,850mAh compared to the rumor of 13T, it still offers more than most phones in its size class.
Catch? One Plus has made the 13s special for India for now, yet there is no plan to bring it to the United States or Europe. This limited leakage makes it difficult to get a picture of how widespread the problem can be.
Although the hardware and sunglasses of One Plus 13 are impressive, it is something to look closely at the green line. We hope that OnePlus will take steps to improve the help of affected users, especially since they are already bound to long -term screen coverage.
