Following the WWDC 2025 preview, Apple has developed the iOS 26 public beta for the iPhone after testing a new OS with developers in the past two months. If you are away from developer beta updates and this is trying your first time iOS 26, the most notable change is a new user interface (UI) design called liquid glass. iOS 26 Public Beta: What is New
The iOS 26 Public Beta has all the changes available with developer beta updates post WWDC 2025. The new liquid glass UI reacts to the visual elements around you by reflecting and refracting the light. According to Apple, it eliminates the differences between Apple’s various operating systems and provides a more compatible look in the devices, impressed by the vision.
There are new customs for home and lock screen, including a new clear format that can be applied to icons. The camera app has also been updated with a better setting, which is easily switching between different ways of shooting.
