Google Maps is a great tool to discover and reach new places, but the app offers more than simple navigation. However, Google plans to eliminate one of its social qualities in the coming months, so you will have a low count of followers that you will be worried about. Yes, Google Maps is losing its follow -up feature. A new community support post outlines the changes in the Google Maps follow -up feature. Google says this feature will expire by September 2025, so you will not be able to follow anyone, nor will you be able to follow you on the other app. You don’t have to do anything because the update will be automatic.

Google has made it clear that changes will not affect the profiles of profiles. You will no longer have to approve or reject followers, and you still have to overcome who can find your contribution.

If you still want to make social in a similar environment similar to Google Maps, the company says the local guides connecting community is still available. There you can discuss and even get some local community events.

One of the best social features of the app is lists, which you can divide other people or invite them to add notes about these places and add notes about them. Google says this feature will not change.

If you still want to maintain information about your followers, you need to do it before the feature is over. Google says he will delete all the data related to the followers, but you can still check who you follow and who you are following:

    1. Open the Google Maps app
    2. Tap on your profile picture or early
    3. Tap on your profile
    4. Tap on followers or follow -up

Apparently, Google does not like its users using a follow -up feature on Google Maps. Last month, the AP’s AP’s tears of the app’s Android version have revealed that the company can eliminate the features of the following locations.

I have never paid attention to the follow -up feature on Google Maps, and I will not remember it. I follow some of my friends to Google Maps, and some of my friends follow me, but I’m investing more in the list of lists. I have some common lists with some friends, and we often add new places of our choice. As long as this feature remains, I do not need more social Google Maps.
