- Google is working on Smart Watch Support for Android ID check feature.
- An associated watch can serve as a second validation factor outside reliable locations.
- This feature was seen in the latest version of the Google Play Services beta.
Google has recently introduced a feature called Identification Check on Android 15 and later devices, when you are out of the default reliable locations, the phone is designed to add additional protection from the theft. Now it seems that Google is working on an upgrade that can make the experience a bit smooth – allowing your Smart Watch to play its role in confirming your identity.

An AP tear down helps predict the features that can reach a service -based code on the future. However, it is possible that such predators do not make it public release.
According to the Code of Code, we saw the Google Play Services beta version 25.29.31, the identity check can soon recognize an associated smart watch as a type of trust signal. They suggest that, if your watch is close and connected, your phone can behave as a sign that you are still in control. This may reduce how much you need to verify with the biometrics while not in any of your safe places.
It will not necessarily eliminate your fingerprint or completely pin, but it can create a better balance between the convenience and security for the users who already unlock their watch and strap it into their wrists. It is a small touch that gives Android theft a little less interference in everyday use.
Here are the strings we have seen:

With the text connecting your watch with the text, the identity check automatically recognizes you when you maintain your security even when you are not in a reliable location at the clock.
As a feature of progress, we do not yet know that this increase in identity testing will eventually end in public release or it will work exactly as we have assumed here. With Android’s security tools, the smart watch security integration looks like a logical next step, unless the Maggers are able to wear like your phone.
