    • Saros Z 70 costs $ 2,599, making it the most expensive robot vacuum I have seen. You can buy two robots vacuums for this price.
    • The most notable feature is the Omnigarp mechanical arm designed to pick and configure items. It also has strong vacuuming and moping capabilities, excellent mapping and crossing the doorstep.
    • There are numerous mechanical arm issues, including difficulties in selecting items, navigation problems and software insects. There were also contact issues during the setup.

I’ve been using Roboric Saros Z 70 for three months now and, in many ways, this is a huge gap of a robot. This is the first robot vacuum with the mechanical arm, which means choosing items and helps you clean before its space and mops. As someone who has three cats who leave toys everywhere, I felt this amazingly charming. I test and write about space to live, and Saros Z 70 is really the first of its kind. Even CNET chose it as our best CES award, which gives me high hopes for his abilities.

I tested it in my dishonest apartment for three months and my colleague and lead lab tester Jord Hannah did the same at his house. The fact is, Saros Z 70 is definitely a lot of promises. It can effectively cross the threshold and obstacles like the winner, vacuums and mops, Dream X50 Ultra, and I have a great map of the house and pets.

However, we are still not ready for show time – robot arm – robot arm – we are still not ready. Right now, Saros Z70 is quite limited to the ability to take very small items like pet toys and children’s toys. On this occasion, he tried to identify and take the cat’s toys, which was found scattered around my house, but it never succeeded. Often, it deploys the arm and then detects my cat or something else and is frozen, and pushes the “error 69”, which forcing me to manually reset the arm. On one occasion, even before he understood, he tried to take my standing desk mat before understanding that this was not a sync thing and had to give up.

I tested Saros Z70 during June and July with Robrock’s latest software updates, aimed at improving performance. After three months of testing, my comments are and what costs it to 6,600.

My experience with Saros Z 70

We tested in CES 2025, CES 2025, in a direct demo, at our New York City Office, in the CNET testing lab located in Louis Will, Kentucky, and recently for three months in my house. Compared to my other experiences with this robot vacuum, my biggest way from my real world home test is my struggle to select items, navigation problems and software bugs. It cleaned the regular robot as vacuum and MOP, but I could not rely on the arm sorting capabilities to pick up shoes and socks reliably, leave the cat toys.

“Yes, it looks like this is primarily the son’s son version,” said Jord, who was testing Z70 at the same time. “They should make a little more progress before getting ready for the public. If I moved something to the arm, I would be mistaken. He felt that there was a lot of resistance, so I think it was doing what he was doing but it seems that this would be a common event.

    • Vacuuming and Moping: Strong performance, good sand/dirt/hair choice; Moping is effective with dry/dirty tanks and dry air.
    • Special features: Omnigarp arm stand out is a special feature, though currently incredible. I found operational problems while examining my home. He struggled to take some items, especially pet toys, but my fate was much better than socks. Not only was the Saros Z 70 unable to identify his wife’s purple socks and lift it from the wooden floor in the bedroom, but he began to move them to his designated shoe drop -off area, which is based in Fuer. The problem was that in one part of this journey, he withdrew from somewhere between the hallway and the kitchen, left the sock, work like a job, and continued its regular cleaning cycle.
    • Mapping and navigation: He prepared a 2D and 3D map of my place, automatically tagged rooms (bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms and kitchen), floor type (hard surface and carpet) and identified some pieces of furniture (sofa, TV stand and bed). It also marked a significant limit in my place where additional efforts would be needed to cross. If you are not happy with the results, you can re -create it or tell you to re -prepare a particular room, but for the first time, it did a great job for me.
    • Software and app: The app is not the most straightforward device to use, which has an advantage of settings and nests that allow you to adjust every work of the robot, from the dust bine to empty and the frequency of washing, allowing samples, obstruction images and robotic arm. What the robot can do about everything is customized, but I wish all of these features and settings are a bit more front and center rather than colliding with the menu of the long settings.
    • Design and aesthetics: Low profile design, fitting under furniture is good, but when he tries to tear himself under things like my wife’s office chair, it can cause abrasive.
    • Ease in use: There were contact issues in the setup. Once setup, basic functions are easy, but advanced settings are complex.

    • ELSE: $ 2,599
    • Object Weight Limit (Omnigarp arm): 300 grams raped loads; About 700 grams of actual load capacity during our testing.
    • Height of crossing the limit: About 2 inches is capable of crossing the doorstep.
    • Cleaning Time: (Ajay’s apartment, 850 square feet): 1.5 to 2 hours for a full vacuum and MOP session.
    • Cleaning Time: (JRID’s house, 1,200 square feet): 2.5 to 3 hours for a full vacuum and MOP session at the central level.
    • Mappering Time (Ajay apartment, 850 square feet): 16 to 18 minutes for initial maping.
    • Sand pickup performance on hardwood: 82.46 %, it is the best wooden performance, which is the only embarrassing interpretation of our best overall, Equox Debit T30S Combu (85 %).
    • Sand lifting performance on the carpet (mid pile): 51.77 %, it drives the Dream X50 Ultra (44 % pile of mid)
    • Sand lifting performance on the carpet (less pile): 51.06 %, which comes close to shark power detection (54.5 %).
    • Sound Command Compatibility: The app can be linked to Amazon Alexa for voice commands.
    • Customization: The app has allowed a range of customization, including dust bine empty frequency, mop washing frequency, cleaning samples, obstruction images and robotic arm.
    • Mapping Features: The app shows the 2D and 3D maps produced by the robot, allowing room tagging, furniture identification and setting the “Novo” zone. It also indicates pets and allows “cleaning the pet area”.
    • WiFi Connectivity: The robot needs to connect Wi -Fi for setup and app control.
    • Dual spinning moping pad: The robot uses a pair of dual spinning moping pads that are connected and separated from the docking station.
    • Clean and dirty water system: Uses clean water for moping and collects dirty water in a separate tank, which ensures clean moping.
    • Cleaning and drying moping pads: Moping pads are washed at the base station in the midst of a clean session and hot air is dry.
    • Moping mode: First “Vacuum+MOP” mode vacuums first and then the whole place. There are deep cleaning, pet area and AI -powered smart plum options.

    Saros Z 70 DOCKED

    Advice to buy CNET

Although the Roburic Saros Z 70 is taking over vacuuming, moping and navigation, the main feature – Omnigarp arm – is not yet reliable if you are just wanting to use the Omnigarp arm. Recent software updates in June and July have made some improvements, including improved grub point optimization, smart sorting correction and new pickup categories such as sports shoes, but consistency still leaves a lot to be desired.

The $ 2,599 price tag is difficult to ignore. I argue that the price of you, you can buy two or three best standard robots like vacuums and mops. Yedi M -12 Pro PlusOr a comparable high -performing models such as Dream X50 Ultra Which has the potential to cross the doorstep – both CNET’s best robot vacuums on the best list. At the end of even lower price, the new of Irobot Romba 205 Distocympor Combu With solid performance and a unique mechanical pedal, our best new robot for less than $ 500 is a vacuum that allows you to save 60 days of dust dust.

If you care about all this is to avoid strong empty, moping and obstruction: ACOVOX DOTT T30S Combo Current CNET’s “best gross robot vacuum” and Robrock have its own Saros 10 r Dust beans and water tanks offers more space with more space or better vacuum and moping performance because it does not need to fit the mechanical arm in his body.

    Robbery

Without a fully operational and reliable Omnigarp arm, I cannot justify its cost at this time.

“There is a clean feature to see the arm, but I personally don’t find it very useful,” said Gerard. “I feel that if the robot is smart enough to avoid barriers like shoes and socks, I do not need to pick them up and move them. Unless the robot gets stuck on anything during its cleaning cycle, it is good enough for me.”

If your main reason to consider the Omnigarp arm Saros Z 70, I advise you to wait for future software updates or wait a few years until the markets enter the market with new generations of technology.
