From today, Google is developing a VEO 2 -powered photo -to -video feature in the Google Photo app. Available for Android and iOS users in the United States, this tool will convert static images into six seconds of video clips. As the company explained, this feature is like a photo -to -video functionality that has recently surfaced by Gemini. You will be able to create a short clip by choosing a picture and choosing one of the two gestures: “Latif movements” or “I’m feeling lucky.”
The second new feature is called remix, which allows you to transform the image into an example. This tool will offer various styles to choose such as mobile phones, comedy, sketches, or 3D animation. Google says the capacity will start in the United States in the next few weeks.
As mentioned earlier, Google is making it easier to find these tools and discover others. It is doing all the tools under a tab, called “creation”. The creation tabs will appear in the bottom bar between collecting and searching. However, this tab will not come to the app until August.
Google added that the photo app will have a hidden digital watermark in all photos and videos made by its AI. The material produced will also show water marks.
However, the photo app is not getting full attention today. YouTube announced that shorts are also getting a photo -to -video function next week. It will initially be available in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The company plans to increase more areas at the end of the year. However, the new AI playground feature-a place where you will find Google’s latest AI creation tools, a gallery of examples, and already filled indicators-available on YouTube starting today.
