- Google Photo is testing a cap kit button to help users edit memories in the Betns’ owned app.
- We spotted the Google Photo Android app’s AP and spotted the button level and succeeded.
- Buttons only appear for memories made of photos and not just for video memory.
In a surprising move, it seems that Google is quietly examining the new party’s new integration in its photo app, which we have never seen before. For Google, it is very rare to promote the third party app in its app, especially the ownership of a company that is checked in several areas, including the United States, but this is what is happening.

An AP tear down helps predict the features that can reach a service -based code on the future. However, it is possible that such predators do not make it public release.
By digging through the code of the Google Photo app version 7.38, we saw a new “edit edit” button directly connected directly to the popular video editing tool in owned by Betdance, the basic company of Teltok, and saw its level.
The new “Cape Kit” button appears within the audience of Google Photos memories, a feature that automatically produces your past photos and videos. The screenshots below show new, full -screen memories UI in Google Photo, a change that we have observed earlier in February. But now, for the memories made of photos, the “Edit the Cape Kit” option appears significantly in the left corner of the bottom left corner.
If memory video spotlight (just one video just memory), the cap cut option does not appear. For users who do not have a cap kit installed, tapping the button makes a play store prompt trigger to install the app. If you already have a cap kit on your device, the selected memory will be downloaded directly and directly to the cap kit editor for further customization. We cannot get to open the cap kit after pressing the buttons because the app is not available in India, where our auxiliary submission debug has discovered the integration.
This surprises us why Google Photos will promote non -Google, by -owned app. Capecuts are banned in countries like India, which means that this feature will be inaccessible or broken for the region’s users. The app was temporarily suspended in the United States, but returned online earlier this year. Perhaps Betdance has offered concessions to Google so that they can advance the cap kit through one of its most used apps.
Given that this feature has not been largely or even appeared in the beta version of the app, it is possible that Google is only testing water or planning a limited regional launch.
