Sleep tracking with Apple Watch may be better because it seems that Apple is working on a sleep score feature. The latest iOS 26 beta code discovered a new feature indicators, which were released today.
A new icon was viewed inside the Health App Code by a assistant to macroomers. The graphic shows an Apple Watch with a “84” number on it, which has three bars four times. Rods are similar to the colors used to mark different stages of sleep tracked by smart watch.
Outside the clock, the image is seen in four sleeping icons, which Apple has used in other parts of the iOS. The icons include a moon, an “ZZ”, a bed, and an alarm watch. The report also mentions the thermometer icon elsewhere.

The name of this photo is “Watch Focus Score”, which strictly recommends a sleep -related score that can provide Apple Watch. Considering the name, the sleep score can be linked to the attention of sleep and the quality of sleep can be classified.
Currently, Apple provides sleep tracking with Apple Watch, but it only provides information about the amount of sleep and its stages. They are separated into a REM, core and deep sleep, with an extra category for waking up while sleep was active.
There is nothing new in the world capable of wearing a sleep score. Other devices, including Garman’s watches, and colors, and capable of wearing Huawei, give users a similar score. Generally, this score is also used to provide preparation scores. Samsung’s recently announced health -based Galaxy Watch 8 goes further and provides sleeping coaching.
The temperature icon suggests that Apple may be realistic in different matrix when scoring. Similarly, the Vitalas app works on Watchos 11, so Apple feels to use a similar approach for a sleep -related feature.
Sleep tracking is an important reason I wear smart watch, so this type of feature is much more than welcome. I am less excited about a numerical measure how bad my sleep is, but it can act as a stimulus of positive change. This can also be just another important score I ignore.
