And with this update, Sonos added some further improvement to the ACE, which includes two people’s TV audio sweep, cancellation of adaptive noise and better calls. I spent some time checking every aspect of this update to determine if Sonos’s headphones are really good after adaptation.
Truecinema is finally here
The first time I tried akka in a press event in the last spring was one of the main parts of the Trookinima Demo. From the jump, Sonos was clear that it would not arrive when the headphones were first sold, but I also did not expect the company to get ready for a whole year.
As a refresher, Trookinima is a feature for Akka, which keeps the sound of the room where it has a voice bar. This information then creates a local audio for the headphone based on this information when the TV audio exchange is enabled. According to Sonos, it is speculated that “you understand the dynamics of your place, treats it soundly and it looks like you have a beautiful 3D audio system in your headphone.” It is similar to the company’s trend tuning that gives your sound bars to your room or home theater.
Sonos has succeeded as a more realistic experience of listening to Trosenima. Since it imitates the features of the room, it seems that you feel like you haven’t worn a headphone at all. I am not convinced of this point, but this feature enhances ACE’s local audio capabilities for TV audio sweep.

ANC and clear calls from improvement
Another aspect of the ACE update is to improve the cancellation of active noise (ANC), but not in the way you can expect. The company has no way to stop the noise, but it contains any sound leakage that can affect performance. Sonos says its better ANC setup can adapt to fitness changes due to hair, glasses and hats in real time using the sensors inside aka. With this adaptation, I noticed a slight difference in ANC’s performance when the sun or hat stopped the ear pad from sitting on my face, but it is not as good as a hard seal. I will present this update as a slight improvement, but it is still an improvement.
Sonos also claims that the software update offers a better call experience thanks to high resolution audio. The company also added the ability to pipe seedtone, or your voice during calls when ANC is enabled. Many companies have different degrees, and the effectiveness depends on how natural the sound is and whether you are able to make any adjustments. In the case of ACE, the Sidotone acts as a better integration mode, and it definitely improves the call experience. Since I could usually speak and not need to scream to listen myself, video and voice calls feel more natural.

One year after his debut film, the company is meeting the high expectations set by the company when Sonos Akka arrives. After spending time with this batch of refreshments, I am sure that the ACE will all benefit from being ready at the launch, especially Trivisenima. Since one of the main work of the ACE is a personal residential room hearing, it takes enough time to provide this feature that will promote sound quality.
On the other hand, it is good to see that Sonos is still working to improve Akka.
