- Nothing is planning new “light” or “T” branded phone.
- The move may not have access to anything in the budget section below the phone 3A series.
- Xumi and One Plus have used similar name strategies to compete in the budget.
With the addition of more affordable models, nothing is looking to expand its smartphone range. The company has so far focused on flagship and middle -distance devices, but this strategy may be developed.
According to Yogesh Barr, a reliable lease on X, nothing is detecting branded phones as a “light” or “T” model. He did not share specific details, but he noted that “Pro models are not just cutting it”, suggest that the company may consider low -cost alternatives to maintain interest. Barr was at its tip about not having anything about releasing three phones in the first half of 2025, so this rumor is definitely credible.

The move will be compatible with recent efforts that have nothing to reach the wider audience. The phone 3A and 3A Pro, which is priced, is 9 379 and 9 459 respectively, identifying a meaningful change toward the Value, which offered triple camera setup, clean software, and spectacular design. Although we praised both phones in our review, the lack of proper career support made them less than the ideal for US buyers.
If nothing happens with light or T -branded devices, it will be in good company. Brands such as Xumi and OnePlus have used years of names for sale at competitive prices to sell or fresh phones. This is a formula that is working, Zumi is the fastest growing smartphone brand last year.
Nothing has been confirmed yet, and there is no timeline. But with the phone 3A series laying the foundation work, a real light or T model can be the next logical move for nothing to catch a piece of budget market.
