Perhaps Nokia, the most famous phone maker of the time, has stopped making the phone for many years. Although Nokia has launched the Nokia branded phone market even after deciding to sell his mobile business, it was made by another company, HMD Global.

However, Nokia and HMD Global will be separated in the ways next year, so the question remains whether we will issue the Nokia phone issued in the market after mutual cooperation between the two companies.

To make things even worse for Nokia, HMD Global has recently announced plans to measure its operations in the United States. This means that Nokia phones were not as successful as HMD, so the Finnish company is now trying to reduce its losses and remove itself from a very difficult market.

Like many global businesses, HMD is also going to a difficult geographical political and economic environment. After careful consideration, we have decided to return our US operations. Our priority is to ensure that our customers and partners are ensuring any obstacles. We will continue to respect all responsibilities, including current product warranty coverage and service, and provide full support through our global teams.

    – HMD Global, July 2025

Although the cooperation between Nokia and HMD Global will not end until March 2026, the former is already looking for a new colleague who is ready to continue to release the Nokia branded phone.

A Nokia community manager responded to a user on Nokia sub -radiat who asked if the company would submit licensing deals for mobile phones after cooperating with HMD next year.

The comment has since been deleted from the thread, but not before the people of Moblesimo can screen it. Although it is quite clear that Nokia does not have another partner to handle the mobile business from HMD Global, it remains to be seen how fast it will be able to find it.

It is difficult to believe that Nokia makes a lot of money by giving a license to its mobile brand. The Finnish company has more income from its patent and network divisions, and it has been happening for a while.

It is also difficult to believe that Nokia phones will become popular once again, especially in the market. Nothing has become more popular than Oppo, Samsung, Vivo, and Xumi Nokia, so the company that decides to make the Nokia branded phone will have a hard time returning the famous brand in its previous glory.
