What looks like a throwback in the early days of Android Smart Watchs is now forming that this year’s motorLau’s amazing move can be. The company is allegedly preparing to re -launch Moto 360 in 2025, and new leaked images offer an initial look at the refreshing design.
Originally launched in 2014, the Moto 360 was the first circular smart watch to run 360 Android, though it had a specific “flat tire” cut -out under the screen. Motorola pursued the second generation before shelling the series in 2015 in 2015. A third model was published in 2021, but was developed by Ebeno, a Canadian company, which licensed the moto brand. The model operated the wearing OS and presented the latest internal in a familiar shell, as we had said earlier.
Now, the name of Moto 360 has returned once again, and this time it seems that Motorola is launching again in the house. The 2025 version retains the round display but adopts a better frame with a rotating crown at 2 o’clock and 4 o’clock with a secondary button. It is a setup that resembles the OnePlus Watch 3.

Interestingly, it also shows that Motorola is moving forward with five color variations for this new model. It seems that the completion of the brushed metal in this case and the flattering people are compared to the old Ebino version. That said, there are many questions left – especially around the software.
As the Moto Watch fit earlier this year, the new Moto 360 can not use Google’s wearing OS at all. Instead, Motorola can rely on its domestic Moto Watch OS, designed for better performance and longer battery life. The company has also used this approach before and can consider the double-OS setup, with a light version of the OS wear for specific features by making Moto Watch OS pair.
That said, the UI OS shown in the leaked images is closely resembling to wear, which increases the possibility that the motorola can still create a purpose of some extent with Google’s ecosystem. Although no launch date has been confirmed, the name suggests that it can arrive later this year. If a motorola returns Moto 360 with meaningful upgrades and thoughtful software integration, it can find the location of old memories in users for classical smart watch designs.
Of course we will keep a keen eye on the development of this model and whether it indicates a broader return to Motorola’s wear lineup. I have seen that the classic looks are very interested in the watch watches, such as the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, indicating that this may be a good move in the motorola section to provide some competition in this place.
