- Google is updating high -speed pair notification UI for TWS Airbeds to make the battery status easier to read at a glance.

A few years ago, Google introduced a useful fast pair feature that allows users to quickly examine the battery status of their real wireless airbids. If you are using a fast pair -powered aerobids, you may have noticed that whenever you open the case, a notification shows each component’s battery level: left bud, right and matter. When you are running a battery on any of these ingredients, you also get a notification, which indicates you to recharge them on time.
Now, Google is improving the user interface of these battery notifications so that the battery status is easier to understand at a glance.

Currently, the notification shows a picture of airbuds and their case, with a percentage of battery listed at the bottom in a simple, minimal sequence. Although it works well, the design offers limited visual indicators. Google is now working on introducing some simple adaptations and colorful changes to make these information more informative and engaging.
During our tears of the latest beta version of Google Play Services (version 25.28.31), we discovered that Google is testing a better UI for battery notifications of the Fast Pair. The most notable change is an increase of a circular progress bar to represent the battery percentage, in addition to the numerical price below each component. Battery icons are also placed in the upper part of the ingredients. These new visual elements make it easier to immediately guess how much the airbood and how much compensation is left in this matter.
Current uiThe new uiNew UI: Low battery
In addition, the notification now includes clear labels – L (left), R (right), and C (case) – next to each icon, it is very easy to distinguish which battery level is concerned. This is an improvement compared to the current design, which lacks any labeling.
In addition, Google is also updating notifications for low battery levels. Circular battery indicators change colors based on the charging surface: Yellow when the battery falls below 50 %, and when it is less than 20 %, it turns red. Although this color coding is not completely new (the current UI also changes the color of the icon of the battery), the new implementation binds this change to a more remarkable and direct visual progress.
Although this is not a major review of the UI, it makes it very easy to translate the battery status. It is unclear when the new UI will end, but this should happen soon. We will take a look and tell you that when the change goes into the mainstream.
