Privacy -based search engine, Dick Dickgo, is now allowing users to hide photos made from artificial intelligence (AI). Last week, a US -based Pennsylvania announced a new filter on its image search interface that could hide AI photos so that the user could only browse real or non -artificial images. The filter is based on a large list of websites and blogs known to post AI-Infield Images. In addition, Dick Dacgo is also offering a new domain in its search platform where all the features of the first party AI are default.
Dick Dickgo’s new filter will hide photos of AI
In a post on X (previously known as Twitter), the official handle of the search engine announced a new filter. Describing the company’s vision for AI as “private, useful and optional” features, Dick Dacgo highlighted that it wants users to control their theoretical content when browsing the web.
This new “AI photos” filter can be found and activated from the image search tab on its website. After inquiring and entering the images tab, they will now see a new option in the filters menu below the text coear box. In front of a safe search option, the “AI Image Show” text can be seen. Taping on the dropdown menu keeps users either hiding or showing AI-breed images.
As an alternative, if users do not like to see any AI-infield images at all, they can click on the gear icon and go to search settings, and then go to the “AI features” option below. Taping on the “Manage” opens a new interface that allows users to permanently hide AI infield images as long as they are logged into their account.
The company said that the AI image filter of Dick Dickgo relies on manufactured open source block lists manually. In addition, the company has also obtained a list of known websites that post AI content from Ublockorigin and Ublacklist’s large AI block list. The platform recognizes that the filter may not be able to extract 100 % of AI-infilled images from search results, but emphasizes that it will greatly reduce the number of artificial images.
Separately, the search engine also introduced a new domain in which the first party’s AI features have been default. This means that users will not see AI photos, AI -supported summary, and ducks.
