Prior to the start of the Galaxy Z Philip 7, I was upset with cameras on Samsung’s latest foldable flip phone. Rumors around Z Philip 7 indicated a change in hardware without any hardware – and this happened after the phone became official.

Camera Performance is one of the key sectors I always see with the upgrade year by year and there is no exception. In my Galaxy Z Philip 7 reviews, I mention how the latest provincial engine helps to increase its shots-it proved to be how it has improved my 10x zoom on my 10x zoom to face my 10 round Galaxy Z Philip 7 vs. Razer Ultra (2025) image.

Which is well tied to the Galaxy Z Philip 7 vs. Galaxy Z Philip 6 photo shootout well for the new phone. Just a reminder, both phones pack the same camera – 50MP main camps, 12 MP ultra -wide, and 10 MP selfie shooter – just below the same aperture for each lens.

Although there is no change in the hardware (in my opinion), the Galaxy Z Philip benefits from the large Flex window display on the outer part of the 7 phone. This makes it very easy to pull Vlogs and selfies, mainly due to extra real estate where you can watch the video preview through this cover display.

Like my second photo shoot -out, I take both the best foldable phone contenders and occupy the same scenes and then preview them on the monitor. I cannot emphasize how much emphasis will be placed on the new image processing algorithm with Z. Philip 7.

It is also a match with day -time shots I caught using main cameras on both flip models. All the details were well caught, including license plates on cars, floor structures, and marks on the light poles.

I can only make a difference that the Galaxy Z Philip 7 promotes trees in the shadow in the background. These deep areas have been more exposed to draw the details there, while Z Flip 6 looks dark.

    Winner: Galaxy Z Flip 7

Living at the same place with the parking lot, I turned to the ultra -wide shooters on both phones. Once again, it is almost the same in terms of their details and ideas.

This time, whatever applies to the Galaxy Z Philip 7, there is no exposure, so the only difference comes to their color temperature. While Z Flip 7 Skiyu is hot, I also like Z. Philip 6 as it also looks warm.

    Winner: Tie

I have to admit, these yellow flowers’ shots look amazing. However, trying to determine which of the two flip models produces better color is hard because they are very close.

The Galaxy Z Philip is only a little more saturated with yellow from 6 shot, but Z Flip 7 is not too far away. I can also see the same with green leaves and sprinkle a small dose of 7 saturation with trunks around the whole scene, such as the z. This is honestly a good shot, but Z. Philip 7 has a little more real than life.

    Winner: Galaxy Z Flip 7

Now this is interesting because when closely inspected, I can make a difference between them. The Galaxy Z Philip 6 is better selfie due to its sharp effect, which draws more details around my face.

Initially I was surprised by the results, but one of the reasons is that Z Flip 6 captures the best selfie. You all need to look closely at the selfie cutout on the interior display.

Both phones come with Samsung’s predetermined screen protector (which you should not remove), but Z. Philip 7’s screen protects the selfie camera-while Z Flip 6 cuts around it. As a result, Z. Philip 6’s selfie camera is unclear, which I think the results are explained.

    Winner: Galaxy Z Flip 6

Here is a great example of a new image processing algorithm that helps improve the shot. If you look closely at the edges of my portrait shot, you can see how the two phones apply the usual fading effect on the background.

The Galaxy Z Philip 6 is quite a place with the effect of fading, but it performs it in a linear way. Meaning, it shows me the shot and fades everything so that the effect goes around the edges.

However, the Galaxy Z Philip 7 applies the effect more realistic by not keeping it uniform. Take a look at my throat and even take a look at my right shoulder. They are a bit faded, when you focus on a face.

I took the sun behind a shot of Gizbo in the park, so that it put a shadow around the preview, which helps to showcase their dynamic range. Although there are sharp details in Z Flip 7, their dynamic range does not matter much.

Both Galaxy Z Philip 6 and Z Flip 7 shades improve exposure to Better improves better balance. , I can see the shade parts of the trees in the background and directly in front of the gizbo. Meanwhile, the sky has been properly exposed without losing details in the clouds.

    Winner: Tie

Nor does the phone have a dedicated macro mode, but it doesn’t prevent me from taking shots closely. Although the slightly saturated colors of the Galaxy Z Philip 6 are here again, both phones actually meet each other in terms of detail and explanation.

I really like how they catch the structure in the petals, with strong details of the trunk in the middle of the flowers. And if you look close enough, you can make small pieces of jirgas that are sticking around the trunk.

    Winner: Tie

Despite the lack of telephonic cameras, both phones can still flog up decent 2x zoom shots. The flowers in the forehead look alike with both and I like how they maintain the texture of the leaves with some plants.

Looking elsewhere in shots, Z. Philip 7 works better to clean the background – especially around the upper right corner with bench and street marks. They appear to be fading with Z Flip 6, but they are clearly clear with Z Flip 7. In fact, I can name the street mark.

In the 2x zoom, any of these contradictions only become an example when you go to a maximum of 10x zoom levels. I need to peek with these shots above because they look very similar to the lifetime.

The first thing I lock is the mark on the post in the middle of the shot, where words are more appreciated with Z Philip 7. It’s not a great amount, but still I think.

Somewhere else, I look at China Link fence and trees in the background, which looks a bit dirty on Z. Philip 6. And finally, the concrete floor has more detail and looks a bit faster with the Z Fold 7.

    Winner: Galaxy Z Flip 7

Galaxy Z Philip 7 vs Galaxy Z Flip 6: Low light

    Fig. 1 out of 1

    Galaxy Z Flip 7(Image Credit: Tom’s Guide / John Velasco)Galaxy Z Flip 6(Image Credit: Tom’s Guide / John Velasco)

Of all the categories, it is one that has a tremendous benefit to the Galaxy Z Philip 7. First of all, I have to tell you that both phones are low light beats-which is impressive for foldable. They take black conditions in my backyard and look like the source of light shines on the tree.

Details in the tree are more appreciated with the Galaxy Z Philip 7, while Z Flip 6 softens them. With the seeding on my garage, Z. Philip 7 neutralizes the small part that is bright there to better expose the siding. The same place looks more and more with Z Flip 6.

    Winner: Galaxy Z Flip 7

Galaxy Z Philip 7 vs Galaxy Z Flip 6: Decision

(Image Credit: Tom’s Guide / John Velasco)

Although I like to see the hardware upgrade to the camera, the Galaxy Z Philip 7 benefits from the latest Samsung’s latest proazyl engine, and as a result, it manages to come up with the shoot -out. Improvement is excellently minor, so if you are considering upgrading, I will actually ask you to wait – unless the other upgrade is valuable to you.

What I am interested in then, though, is to keep the Galaxy Z Philip 7 per photo shoot. It has the same camera setup in Z Philip 7 and Philip 6, but possibly treated the same increase with this latest proximal engine. And yes, it comes at a lower price and sticks to the small flakes window display.
