My apologies, Samsung, I was unaware of your folded game

I spent a long time rejecting the Galaxy Z Fold as a Home Foldable that it didn’t look like it was interested in innovation. Perhaps the reason is that I have always been a fan of Philip phones, but I never felt like I would like to give Samsung’s original foldable day. And then, I got out of my comfort area. The Galaxy Z Folders arrived at my doorstep, ready to review, and I decided to take the most of my adventure.

I can’t believe that I waited for it. After many years of neglecting the Galaxy Z Fold Series, I would have to admit that I was not ready to see how well the latest model would feel in my hands. I have a forgiveness of Samsung, and I think everyone should at least have the opportunity to stop the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Why is it here

Galaxy S25 Edge runs so that the Galaxy Z Fold can run 7

A few months ago, I thought I had only an ultra -thin galaxy device this year. I have just reviewed myself about the Galaxy S25 Age and decided that the thin is not always good. It felt as if Samsung had shrunk everything to make a thin -shaped element, removing the fact that it would surrender battery life, cut the camera flexibility, and make the accidental display a new problem once again. And yet, the galaxy z fold is 7 thin.

Well, when anyway, when it opens. When you open its 8 -inch internal display (already HALF half -inch larger), The Galaxy Z Folds opens 7, the extremely expensive phone falls from 8.9 mm thick to just 4.2 mm thick. It is 1.6 mm thin from the edge and is about 1 mm thin from Apple’s M4 -powered iPad Pro, and it doesn’t feel real in my hands. Surprisingly, although, I feel more comfortable with its gorilla glass ceramic and coach aluminum titanium.

Perhaps the thing that makes the Galaxy Z Fold 7 winner, where I thought Edge was a loser, that’s what Samsung does with his place. Yes, it is doubled from real estate to work with, but a large 4,400mAh battery and 10 MP telephoto sensor – though not extremely fast – to go ahead. This Galaxy Z Fold 7 feels more flexible, and its slightly thick camera collided with a collision that Samsung could definitely do the same for the edge. Nevertheless, 200 MP primary and 12 MP ultra -wide sensors are the same, so adding telephoto to find a lost piece.

I couldn’t see the foldable forest for the trees

Taking a long look at the Galaxy S25 Edge through the lens of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 reminds me of something else: Most people do not upgrade their phone every year. I mean, why should they offer them when Samsung offers Android Updates and Security Patch of More than seven years of its flagship launches? Nevertheless, as a tech reviewer, my job is to find the biggest, excellent upgrade from one year to another to justify spending a lot of money on the new phone, and I often feel at least a little disappointed.

If you look at the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the differences are not so large. Certainly, there is a slight change in the shape-the fold 6 is slightly more square and wider-but the cameras are almost the same, the difference in thickness is only half mm, and they both remain on the hard 4MP under-display selfie camera that has never improved. In fact, there was little reason for someone to jump from a foldable to another, and we said in our review.

The Galaxy Z Folds may feel like 5 Galaxy Z Fold 6 … but this is nothing like the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

However, when you keep the Galaxy Z Fold 5 with the Galaxy Z Fold 7, they rarely look like they are from the same family. Well, the camera’s collision is the same, pouring three small circle on the island -shaped island, and a UI is a UI by the end of time, but when the fold 7 opens, it is difficult to emphasize how thin it feels.

And then, the Galaxy AI – the real reason Samsung wants you to update your phone. Once again, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Fold 7 launched with similar options. They have wrinkles such as drawing assist, browsing assist, and direct translation for blacks. Galaxy Z Fold 5? Nada. Well, he got some galaxy AI tricks, but to the same extent, not like Samsung’s new foldables. And, with Snapdragon 8 General 2, it will not get as long as long -term love as Snapdragon 8 General 3 or Snapdragon 8 Elite Galaxy for the galaxy.

Once you look at the slow, steady innovation of Samsung through a wider lens, the slight upgrade suddenly becomes very meaningful (okay, the Galaxy S25 series outside, apologies). One millimeter part becomes a giant, and some extra megapixels make a big difference. I may still be bullying about the folder battery and charging setup, but I won’t be so quick to dismiss the original foldable phone.

To date, light, light zid fold • more durable design • 200MP Primary Camera • Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy

Thin, light, high strength, and it connects!

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 offers a 8 -inch Olade screen, 200 MP camera, Snapdragon 8 Elite for the Galaxy chip set, and 4,400 mAh battery. The Galaxy AI experience has been backed up, which presented the camera’s tools, the circle to find and more. Best of all, Samsung has developed its folded folding assembly, and has promised less of the crease.
