Samsung has revealed the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which is the next generation of its famous Zule Folding Phone series and the successor of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, which we list as one of the folding phones.

Although the Galaxy Z Fold 7 won’t ship until July 25, I need to briefly try a new foldable in Samsung popup in London-and after holding the phone in my hands, I have to say that I am very impressed with its construction. Samsung has done an amazing job in making a phone that both look better and feel like a more natural choice for everyday Care.

As our hands -on Galaxy Z Fold 7 Review Note notes, Samsung’s latest foldable steps are only 4.2 mm thick when opens with an 8 -inch folding main display and 6.5 -inch core screen.

In addition to being thinner, the Galaxy Z Folds fixes a problem with the 7Z Fold Series that has raised me for years, and even prevented me from considering buying one in the past.

    A core screen worth celebrating

I’m talking about the cover screen – especially how slim and long it is. I have always noticed that the core screen on the Galaxy Z fold line is too thin to use comfortably.

This is not just a display size, either-galaxy Z fold 6 6.3-inch display plays, but due to the dimensions of the internal display, it has to capture the 22: 9 aspect ratio. For reference, the industry standard for slab phones is currently 19.5: 9-now long, but the Galaxy Z fold is much wider than 6.

Galaxy Z Fold 7 fixes this problem. Not only is the cover screen larger at 6.5 inches, but its new aspect ratio is 21: 9 – not far from the 22: 9 display of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, but there is a quite useful, familiar and quite change.

For me, the thin frame is the second largest design for the Galaxy Z Fold 7 after the new core screen. (Image Credit: Lance Alanov / Future)

It may be strange to make such a stand on the covering of the folding phone – however, you are buying it for a large internal folding display. But after using a handful of folding phones, I can say with confidence that if the phone maker wants his handset to be classified among the best folding phones.

It is like or not, there Equivalent Be a time when you need to use your phone one hand, or carefully, or quickly-and in these moments you need to have a properly useful cover screen. And clearly, with the high cost of folding phones, it is appropriate to expect a greater experience at all times.

The Galaxy Z has folded 7 nails this important feature – I can tell you so much for me for a few minutes. I’ll go to the extent that Samsung has developed a really amazing piece of hardware.

Nevertheless, I will still not buy one for a very easy reason: price.

    The disturbing price

The Galaxy Z Fold will retail at 7 $ 1,999 / £ 1,799 / aU $ 2,899. This is the most expensive starting price I have seen for a widely released phone, and a US dollar is off $ 2,000

I don’t know about you but I’m not leaving two grandson on a phone, whether it is a beautifully constructed and deeply capable. I am sure that there are people who are ready to participate with this huge amount for the Galaxy Z Fold 7*, but I’m not one of them (*Keep an eye on our phone deals coverage for the latest waiver and commercial offerings).

Only by determining US pricing, in $ 1,999 you can buy two Samsung Galaxy S25 plus hand sets, four PS5 slim consoles or seven Apple Watch SES. This is a lot of power to give up a one device, and for me to consider purchases-however, keep an eye on our upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 reviews for a more detailed approach through real-world testing.

    In fact, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 cost was not high at launch, which costs $ 1,899 / £ 1,799 / aU $ 2,749.

As far as its competitors are concerned, the Google Pixel starts at $ 1,799 / £ 1,749 / AU $ 2,699, and the OnePlus opens (in 2023) at $ 1,699 / £ 1,599. Whether Samsung’s standards, or its rivals, the Galaxy Z Fold is an important step at 7 price.

So, wonderful jobs, Samsung, but I’m still not buying the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7. What do you think – is the Galaxy Zool 7 very expensive? Or does the new design justify the price? Tell us in the comments given below.
