Money PCs have been an important place in my home for more than a decade and for good reason: they are cheap, they do not take much space, and they pack the power power in a compact package.

This makes them a great choice for most people, whether you are a computer owner for the first time or want to upgrade your office. For years, Mac Money has been recommended to me for the best mini -PC, but as a longer consumer, I have cracks in my choice.

For starters, Apple does not allow you to upgrade your Mac Money storage in line, so as long as you are not willing to pay close to $ 1,000 in front, you will stumble in space problems later.

In addition, the absence of USB-A on the latest model is surprising, as most devices and devices have accepted the USB-C, there are still a couple on my work desk that features traditional ports such as my monitor light bar and my webcam.

Blackwave’s new MP60 mini -PC offers a compelling alternative. For approximately $ 300, M60 16GB RAM, equipped with a 512GB SSD that is easily expanded, many ports, including a pair of HDMIS for dual surveillance setup, and four -core Intel N150 chip.

Best of all, though, that is, MP60 can fit in a (large) hand palm or even loose paint pockets and weighs under a pound. I’ve been putting MP60 by its speed for a few weeks now – do it have the ability to be the next default mini -PC?

MP60 shows a black, most plastic and unstable shell to be pulled out of its box. However, don’t let it be fooled: It hides a group of practical, interesting elements.

The five -inch square foot print of MP60 keeps it like a new Mac Money in the same league, but half of its two -inch height contains a separate storage extension. Unlock a couple of switches at its base, and a USB-C-powered expansion gaps loose, leaving behind a mini-PC that is just one inch with a long hair.

An element of MP60’s design that is now standing is the difference with the case frame as well. It contains an open copper heat sink that allows internal fans to eliminate heat and prevent PC from high heat at all times.

That’s not so much: the gap brings up and trim the spectacle of another kind of functional design. When the PC wakes up it makes a blue beam and when you sleep it. Turn red. The more practical thing is that the bundle Visa Mount you can use to connect MP60, says, in the back of your monitor or even under your desk.

MP60 benefits the most from any compact real estate. There are a total of eight ports around it: a pair of USB-A 2.0 and USB-A 3.0, two HDMI slots, a standard headphone jack and the second for Gigabit Ethernet. I also found it easy to find that three of them are on the side of the USB port instead of back.

The MP60 model I experienced runs on the Intel N150 processor, which is the entry level chasset with four performance covers. However, in daily activities, I hardly felt the absence of any performance cover. Windows 11 Pro Aus ships with bees on it, and I am glad how quickly it boots from sleep. Multiply tasks, such as multiple browser Windows and Silk and Zooms, were also smooth, and rarely I felt the heat.

Another highlight of the MP60 is a separate extension module. All you need is a run -off the mill screwdriver, and you can slot to 2.5 -inch HDD or SSD to increase its storage to 2TB. However, I wish the USB-C port used by the module could be re-prepared for other jobs, as the PC does not have other slots.

Although it supports Bluetooth contacts, Blackwave has completely left speakers to keep the price low. Although mini -PC is not unusual, it is good for notification sounds to have a set of at least a basic speaker.

Of course, the Premium counterparts packing the N150 N150 N150 N150 Apple Silicon. For example, on the Gack Bench, he scored only 1151 in single -core tests and 2279 in multi -core. Although I have not faced anywhere in most of my workfloose, its performance is struggling to edit more resource -related tasks, such as HD video. Similarly, the built -in Intel GPU is not aimed at gaming at all, and titles like the Anti -Strike 2 have failed to launch completely.

That said, for most people, Blackwave MP60 is a mini -PC for a value, especially thanks to its highly compact design and user -friendly storage expansion capabilities. As long as your use is primarily limited to office tasks and web browsing, it is difficult to beat $ 300 MP60.
