Although I have my favorite apps, in which I consider the best video editing app and the best doing the app, I never thought I would be very special about what clock app I used. As long as I remember, I used whatever watch I had with my phone.

But in the past few years, I have become accustomed to the features of the Samsung watch. Since it is only available on the Samsung phone, I have tried to switch to another watch app that is not bound to a particular OEM. Despite a lot of effort, I could not find anything that would make my needs in the same way.

Do you have a preferred clock app on Android?

Samsung’s watch app has become an integral part of my routine

So what about this Samsung watch app that puts me in the square? It comes in accordance with the specifications of the specifications of its snakes. Due to my chronic fatigue, I often need to adjust when I feel that day. This means that I am very important to the features of adjusting, repetitive snacks.

I am very important to the features of adjusting, repetitive snacks.

Most apps you need to select the preset snack time, which increases the maximum of 30 minutes. But the Samsung app allows me to set the snake timer for 60 minutes. Moreover, when the alarm sounds, I can adjust the time of the snacks with simple pulse and minus icons – which comes to work when I only need 10 minutes to get caught up.

My first alarm mainly works for me to break me from deep sleep. After that, I sounded it in an hour with the purpose of waking up. On the day where I am recovering in a migraine or especially in a few days, I can re -inspect my alarm. But in the days where I meet or I need to travel, I can only give myself an extra 15 minutes for 15 minutes.

My reliance on this highly customized snacks has reached the extent that although I have not used the Samsung phone as my daily driver since 2023, I always sleep with the Samsung device near me on bed.

    Alternatives do not just measure

I felt my strong priority for the Samsung watch app when I converted to Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ in 2023 to S22 Ultra. My S22 ultra display was severely broken by falling into the concrete, so I finally gotten away from turning into a new device. But I struggled to adjust the various watch apps coming up with Oppo’s phone. At the same time, I tried to find the OEM-Agnostic watch app for the first time to replace Samsung, but the Google app won the maximum of 30 minutes of sounds.

As a result, my S22 ultra has maintained its position on my bed table, though I went beyond using this device. I finally got an S23 ultra as a secondary device during the sale, mainly when I was traveling or needed to take photos photos of work. But besides being my camera smartphone, it also became my main alarm watch. Even when I went on another camera smartphone, the S33 Ultra retained its place as its alarm clock – when I allowed to rest from this job when I was S25 ultra to review.

Now, clock apps are not available. I have spent hours trolling the Google Play Store for an app to replace Samsung. In fact, I like the Google Clock app will allow me to add it to Google Assistant Routine. But it lacks this sweet place to customize snacks.

I have spent hours trolling the Google Play Store for an app to replace Samsung.

When I turned my daily driver into Honor 400 Pro, I hoped that I could finally finish my search for a new watch app. But once again I was welcomed a limited period of snakes. I renewed my efforts to find a watch app that would not keep me bound by a specific brand, but the search was not a success.

Most apps I have tried have limited their inspects to a maximum of 30 minutes, and as much as I love to be a person who only needs a 30 -minute interval to wake up, my fact is that I need more time. Don’t start me on the number of reservoirs apps, which does not include the features of the snakes at all. My problem is not that I am a heavy sleeper or lazy, but that I experience uncomfortable, proper sleep that literally hurts out of bed before being ready.

I extended my search to add apps that I initially rejected because of their ads. I was either welcomed by the same 30 minutes, or apps requested permission that I was not willing to give. For example, two of the frame clock apps I have tried will not work unless I allowed to display on other apps, even though none of my other watch apps need this permission.

I have found other watch apps that were already promised, just to check their data collection policies and decide whether they are unable to trade privacy. Nevertheless, when I have a general rule for me to give this type of apps sspay, why would I be comfortable with sharing my personal information with a third party?

For now, I’m stuck using two phones in bed

    Megan Alice / Android Authority

After my recent search for alternative watch apps, no viable results were yielded, I have admitted that my current setup of two phones in bed is underway. This is not the worst problem, but when I’m traveling, it is disturbing and has to take a number of devices for only one to work as an alarm.

I have considered changing my S23 ultra as my daily driver, but it does not support my current dual physical SIM setup. There are also benefits to using physical SIMs, while converting to Esim in my country brings obstacles that prevent me from changing.

Some people may only suggest myself pulling together and riding with a 30 -minute sounds, but I have developed my habit because of specific needs. Before getting out of bed, I have forced myself several times, and it often causes migraine, ongoing migraine attack, or my chronic fatigue is damaged in the day. I do not see my sleep habits changing at any time, even if I want them.

I am hoping that with further customization, some other alternative watch apps (which also respect my privacy) will emerge that will enable me to eliminate my Samsung phone. Even I will pay for a reasonable price watch app that offers my functionality. But in the meantime, my strange setup will survive.
