    • Sony has identified a problem that causes some Xperia 1 VII units to be closed, reboot, and/or again.
    • Some units have detected the problem in the Mother Board, which may fail due to the manufacturing problem.
    • Sony is offering a free alternative program for the affected owners.

Sony Xperia 1 VII has recently been in the light after it has come to the fore that some owners are in a major defect. Fortunately, Sony has identified the problem and will offer a free alternative program.

Sony Yuka confirmed on her website (viewed by Gsmarena) That some of the Xperia 1 VII units was defective in the units:

Our investigation has concluded that the manufacturing process can reduce the failure of the circuit board in Xperia 1 VII smartphones, which could potentially cause electricity problems. The manufacturing process was immediately changed to ensure that this does not happen again. In addition, we have successfully identified every affected smartphone.

The Japanese manufacturer did not find the details of the issue, but confirmed that it would offer an alternative program for the affected Xperia 1 VII owners. The program will begin on July 21.

Sony says users can check whether their phone is affected by entering their device’s IMEI number on the Sony website. The affected users need to contact Sony Support or visit Sony’s Authorized Service Center. Has the IMEI Checker Toll said that your device is not affected? Then your smartphone should work well.

This news has come when some Expert 1 VII owners have reported that their phones are running, closing, and/or not restarting. It seems that the problem gets worse as time goes on, and eventually people are left with brick phones.

In any case, we are happy to see Sony’s answer to this issue. The company may be a small mobile player today, but can learn more from Android OEMS Expert maker while disclosing and dealing with it.
