Sony just surprised the world of photography by unveiling a fixed lens 35 mm full frame compact camera, RX1R III. Coming around ten years after the RX1R II, it has a 61MP exMor R sensor with Sony’s latest image processing technology that promises low noise and high dynamic range.
In addition to all new tech, RX1R III is smaller and more smooth than before and is quite lighter to 17 ounces compared to Lika’s Q3 and Fujifilm GFX100rf. Along with this, it is designed to “carry” the camera for street photographers, serious amateur people and others.
This small size is partially due to the Zees Sonar T35mm F2 lens that partially sits inside the body. According to Sony, more compact than before, it contains optics like the last model and offers high level sophistication and colorful offer, according to Sony. It comes with a macro -color that enables consumers to get closer to articles and feature Sony’s new “phase crop shooting” function that allows 35 mm, 50 mm and 70 mm focal length by cutting into the sensor, just as the GFX100rF but button.

RX1R II has 15 stops of the RX1R II thanks to high razor sensors and image processing engine. It also includes anti -reflection coating and optical low -pass filters to promote image quality, though it may produce some molar and other samples. The shooting speed is not only fast in 5 FPS, though it is obviously not designed for sports.
Electronic View Finder is rotating with 2.36 million dots and 0.7x magnetization, though the backpack offers a resolution of a decent 2.4 million dots. However, unlike one of the previous models, which is bent and it has been fixed to save weight and size. It also lacks physical or optical stability, which completely depends on the reduction of electronic shakes.
With Sony’s latest bones XR and AI processors, it “promises accurate tracking of articles, human body, head and eyes,” said Sony, even if his faces do not appear. It uses a 693 -stage detection AF points, which covers about 78 78 % of the image, just as Sony’s A7R V.
It is not so powerful like the A7R V for the video, but still can handle 4k 30 FPS video with a 10 -bit 4: 2: 2 color samples, as well as 1080p video up to 120 FPS. No log mode is available, but you get a log-like S-Canitone that increases the dynamic range slightly. Other features include a single SDXC UHS II slot, a MIC input (but not a headphone jack), a microhdum port and USB-C input.
R1xr III is much more expensive than RX1R II. It will soon go on the pre -order for $ 5,100, with shipping starting July 31. Sony is also offering a handful of accessories (expensive), including a $ 300 (!) Thumb grip, $ 250 body case and $ 200 lens hood (!!).
