Samsung recently announced the Galaxy Watch 8 and Watch 8 Classic, both wearing OS6 -based One UI Watch 8 running. These are the first smart watch to launch with a new version of Google’s wear platform, and while updates are promised, some users may also face problems if some users use beta software on their phones. It is easier to visit the new sequence, and the upgraded chip within the Watch 8 series increases the overall speed. But there is a famous issue affecting users who are on Android 16 QPR1 beta.
Numerous reports show that the Watch 8 series does not properly connect this beta -operated devices, especially pixel phones. When trying to set the clock, the app capable of wearing Galaxy fails to install the desired plugin. This causes the app to fall and resume, which causes an endless loop where the clock needs to be re -boot and the couple fails again.
This was first seen when a Watch 8 used to be paired using Pixel 8A Android 16 QPR1 Beta 2.1. However, according to some redditors, this is also happening when use A Galaxy Watch 8 Classic with a pixel 9 pro folded on the same blood. The coupling bug beta appears because of the Android software, not the clock.

If you are using a steady version of Android, this problem does not arise. Galaxy Watch 8 Generally, couples and work without major problems. However, keep in mind that if your phone does not have a galaxy model, you may still lose some of the features related to Samsung.
The Watch 8 series offers concrete improvement in design and performance, though some people may not be fans of new cushion size templates. But for now, if you are thinking of buying a Android 16 QPR1 beta, it’s better to wait or use another device to complete the pair.
Considering Google’s closest relationship with Samsung, I believe this problem will be resolved in future updates. Android 16 Public release gets closer. Until then, beta -testers may need to use a backup phone or switch to the stable Android Blood for full compatibility. This is equivalent to the course when a son is running, and although it is a problem, it is part of the contract to sign up in the public beta program. Let’s hope that Google and Samsung will not take long to work together to solve the problem.
