    • Google is examining controls to gain more insights from AI review on mobile.
    • The functionality allows you to select the text from the AI review and extends the subject, focusing on the selected part only.
    • In addition to extension with additional information, additional controls allow you to search for selected snaps.

It cannot be denied that Google Search AI reviews are there to stay here. Although these short -point summary, rather than traditional search results, can be sufficient for basic questions, Google is examining additional functions that allow you to work more with AI review.

At the end of 2024, we learned that Google is experiencing domestic antide pieces within the AI review. When a section of the AI review text is highlighted, these pieces will emerge. And now, we are seeing more evidence of the introduction of more useful controls.

We are looking at a tip of the user about new controls in the AI review. According to the tip, the Google AI review is testing the features to describe a particular section of the text or the search for photos related to this particular particular thing. There is a third button that only allows you to copy the text, but its functionality can be useless because when the text is selected, the standard overley also appears above.

The last time we witnessed this behavior, the selection of the text will automatically show another context in the upper part of the current AI review, and my colleague Stephen Shank has rightly referred to him as the “AI review inside the AI review”. Now the three buttons we have seen give users more control over what we want to do with the prominent, though the results can be the same as before.

Interestingly, the nasd piece shows a short summary and provides more sources to sources. Given the limited rollout of this functionality, we cannot comment on whether these changes are final or if we can expect further control of the AI review through default.
