Packed in Samsung in July, the phone maker still introduced its latest foldable: Galaxy Z Fold 7. It offers the Galaxy Z Fold 6 last year with large and small (or rather, large and thin), but how do you compare them? Here is the Galaxy Z Fold 7 vs. Galaxy Z Fold 6 Springs.

Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Design and display
Z Fold 7 and Z Fold 6 follow the same wide design: a book -style foldable that has an outer screen that works like a flat smartphone when closes. It can be opened to display its wider, more bullet -like internal display, which provides more screen real estate for tasks, sports and viewing media.
The Z Fold 7, however, takes the design of the Z Fold 6 and reduces its thickness, so the pocket or bag is taken even less. The Z -Fold 7 is slightly longer and wider than its predecessor, resulting in large screens. The new foldable is 6.5 -inch AMOLED Full HD Plus (2,520×1,080 Pixels) Core Display, which is from Z Fold 6 6.3 -inch amloaded full HD Plus (2,376×968 pixels) from the cover display. Both models have 1 to 120 Hz variable rates.

Z Fold 7 has a 4,400mAh battery capacity like last year’s Z Fold 6. But unless we test the new foldable, we will not know if its special setup will come into the battery life or not – a slightly larger display on the Z -Fold 7 will suggest that its battery will be eliminated faster, and before checking it will provide Snapdragon 8 Elite phones.
According to Connectivity, Z Fold 7 has its Wi -Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 support, which is far more modern and modern than the Wi -Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 support.
But there is still an area where the Z -Fold is painful behind 7 times: charging. Foldable still has 25 watts maximum charging, which is disappointing enough for this price phone in 2025 and the border line is shameful-even the poor one-pulse launched in 2023 also had a sharp 67 watt charging, which filled the foldable from 76 % in half an hour. Software, Support and AI
The Galaxy Z Folds launches with the Out of the Box with Samsung’s One UI 8 and Android 16, which is an improvement compared to the Z -Fold 6 with Android 14. Yes, despite being a year, Samsung’s largest foldable will arrive with the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system, which the software has returned in the months of its usual release.

But since Z -Fold 7 gets more years of Android updates (and has a new processor), it can give more features of the Galaxy AI in the future.
