    • Chrome is widely rolling for the address bar below Android.
    • Users now have the option to place the bar in the upper part of the screen or to keep it down.

Google Android Chrome is giving users another way to customize their mobile browsing experience. Announced last month, Android browser is finally getting a lower address bar to make navigation a little more mobile friendly. That refreshing is now widespread.

If you are waiting for Chrome on Android to get the lower time, today is the day when your wishes have been answered. In Chrome’s latest version (version 138), you should now see an option to move the address bar below the page. If you are not still watching it, you will have to go into the app information and stop the app twice.

Once it is available, you should see a notification near the address bar as you start browsing. This notification states, “You can touch and catch you to move the address bar down.” Following these directions will open a new menu where you can “move the address bar” or “copy link”. Taping the former will automatically move the bar under the screen.

There is another way to move the address bar. For this alternative method you need to tap on the Three Dot Menu, scroll down in settings and find the new “address bar” option. Taping this option will open a page where you can choose up or down.

We have already tried the experience of the new lower browser and considered it a bit of a mixed bag. Our own Andy Walker has noted some rates as it should prevent this experience from being so good. Of course, if you do not like to keep the address below, you can continue to use the traditional setting. But it is always nice to have the option to switch.
