Apple has been undergoing its biggest leadership change over the years, but CEO Tim Cook does not expect to go anywhere – at least at least at any time. As Bloomberg’s Mark Gorman has fully covered, even despite the recent shock in artificial intelligence and slow product innovation, Coke has the full support of the Apple Board and is expected to continue for years to come.
One of the biggest changes is the next retirement of Chief Operating Officer Jeff Williams, who has been with Apple since 1998. He played a key role in the development of the product and was widely seen as the potential successor of the kick. With its departure, Apple lost a leader who helped create Apple Watch, health products and basic operations.

Williams’s responsibilities are now being divided between several other executives. All Khan, who was previously in charge of the supply chain, is now the new COO of Apple. Apple’s design teams will report directly to the cook, while health and Siri -related software will be transferred under the Craig Federgie of Software. Other areas, such as Apple Care, are also being re -assigned.

This is after another recent change: CFO Loka Mastery has handed over its role to Kevin Parikh. Other veterans, including Dan Ricio and Phil Shiller, have also retired or withdrawn. Many of Apple’s top leaders are now in the 60’s, and more expenses are expected soon.

Even despite these changes, kicks are not showing signs of retirement. He turns 65 years old in November, but many people think he can guide Apple for another five years or more. Without a second command after Williams left, the hardware chief John Transfall is seen as a potential CEO of the future. However, his limited experience in finance and operations can make this route more difficult.

For now, the kick is in full control. Even some people think that if Arthur Levanson retires from this role, he can eventually become chairman.

Apple is clearly entering a period of change, but the upward leadership is stable. The constant presence of the kick can help keep the company stable, though the lack of clear successor can raise concerns if unexpectedly needed.

From my personal point of view, Apple is better than maintaining Tim kick In place for now. With the departure of many top officials and reorganization of teams, adding a new CEO into the mixture will cause a lot of disruption at the same time. The kick brings stability, knows the company inside and out, and still relying on the board. Before thinking about the leadership hand -off, Apple’s real focus should be on fixing its current problems – especially in AI, design and innovation – fixing.
