For a moment, imaginary fans were divided between whether Peter Jackson’s Lord of the Colors films or the HBO’s Game of Thrones Prestage TV show was a great deal of a classic book series. But the older one in the room is that the last season of the latter reached so far in the standard that it gave birth to the show on the show as a whole, especially with its discrimination. But adapting the video game in 2026 will give the players the opportunity to straighten the record and perform the story of good houses, loyalty, treachery and dragons.

Game of Thrones: The war with the Australian developer and publisher play side studios is a real -time strategy for PC in which players handle their selection factions and stay away from the story of books and TV shows. In the Summer Game Fest in June, I landed the stairs under the media lounge, a Director of the game, Ryan entered into a dimly bright interview space (the most imaginary basement in the event).

McMahon explained his deep love with the Play Side vision for the game, as well as the song of Ice and Fire Box and the Game of Thrones TV show. In the last years of the show, he was with other play side developers to see the watch parties to see their latest episodes, which they were broadcast on.

The history of the Play Side RTS Games, such as its own Property Age of Darks: Final Stand, and Work Vargraaf 3: Work on Reford and Civilization 7 VRs, considered the strategy gender appropriate to franchise adaptation.

McMemon said, “The Game of Thronus felt really like a natural fit for it because it is a show about the widespread victory and fighting for the region and the guidance of these armies as well as the political layers inside it.” “It has a lot of complexity that can really shine in the genre of strategy.”

This includes representing warfare factions in the Game of Thrones, which have different forces in the war for Westeros, each with their own separate units and strategies. The game will have four games worth four games at the time of launch: House Stark, with all its minor houses that represent the north of Westeros. House Linster who represents them in the South Half. Home Targirin with the forces that he has gathered with his dragons in independent cities. And finally the king of the night with his dead and white walkers.

McMahon explained that the war for Westers primarily cites the Game of Thrones World, built on the TV show, but the play side used books to fill the space, including minor houses and night King forces. McMahon said, “Especially when it comes to white walkers, especially when it comes to white walkers, the play side did not advise the series directly to George RR Martin, but the studio has consulted the author’s team through Rights Holder Warner Bruce.

And while the war role for Westros is focused on the construction of the role and the global strategy gameplay, the source content has been approved.

“We are definitely trying to sprinkle more and more smaller Easter eggs, and it is mentioned where we can really bring this taste,” said McMemon. “If you are the reader of the book, you will definitely have things for you.”

    Play Side Games

    Player Kings collision

The play side is making a war design to be balanced but separate to the four factions of Westeros. In the game, the curatory, the siege engines, the giants and the dragons are among the unique units for each group, though McMahon declined to explain further that when each force would be different from the other, when it was ready to disclose more gameplay, play sides would share additional details.

But even by each group, the trailer was unveiled during the SGF indicators in standing mechanics and non -proportional units. The developer, along with it, showed the Perlifa Game Play Footage, which includes columns of foot soldiers who arranged to march in the war.

Although the armies will have their own different units, mechanics, heroes and sports style, play sides are trying to keep them balanced against each other – and most importantly, playing on all sides will make it interesting.

“We want to strengthen the dragons, but we want to make sure that leans, stars, and white walkers all have something that feels like a powerful equivalent that can potentially cope with dragons,” said McMemon.

The developer diary also highlights the political aspect of the war for Westeros, though it is as low as the civilization 7, such as a strategy -like sports system, is like heavy diplomacy and joking when more than one player wins to win the Tabletap Game, to win the settlement or to win. Every game of war for Westeros ends only when a player Iron Throne sits, so McMemon expects he will naturally break the alliance in strategic moments and break the same alliance – just like the game of throwing.

“If I know here that this person (controlling) is pushing the House Stark Lansters, and I am playing as a target, it may be my opportunity to move forward if they are ahead,” said Mac Memon.

He added that single player mode will have its own specific layers of political interaction, but the focus of the game design is how the players surround themselves against each other. There will be a game mode where players can set customs editors to differentiate their playthroughs and formulate their rules. Geography has its own terms: In the developer diary, there is footage of the Wester’s overword map that has famous places like Winter Fell and Kings Landing. The players will not fight in the famous shows of the show, but they will confront the enemy’s troops in the craftsmanship maps made according to various biomes in the subcontinent.

    Play Side Games

    Storms of strategy swords

The play side has bent to the experience of its former strategy, which has made games of strategies from its RTS, dark age, and other IPs to ensure that there is a satisfying basic game play loop for Westeros. With all this experience, Mac Memon said, the studio can add layers of complexity while also making it accessible. Given the popularity of the Game of Thrones, the game is probably going to become the first RT (or the first) of the first RT (or the first).

As a game of development, things could always change before the war for Westeros in 2026, and McMemon couldn’t say much about the game. But I had to ask: What do Mac Memon like to play the most right now? Although his favorite character from the books is Tyrone Lanster, and he really enjoys how the Targirin heroes, and how the dragon of this group works, is with the Under -Ed Night King and his white runners.

“I naturally be a very aggressive player in the video games, I want to move forward, take the area, put a lot of pressure on my opponent,” said McMemon. “White Walker, as soon as he is standing, put a heavy leash in such a game.”

Most of our conversations were around the game situation at the launch, which means that something more can come later, though it all depends on how the game is received. Nevertheless, McMemon stressed that the team had many ideas.

“Actually, you can do a lot with the world of songs – outside Westeros – outside Westeros – in which we can tap.” “But now, our focus is on its own launch. And then, if (if) things go well, we like to do a lot.”
