Mountain View -based Tech Dev announced Thursday in his Google Marketing Live (GML) India event. At the same time, the company has also introduced many new artificial intelligence (AI) power -powered AD tools for brands and businesses. Among them, the largest tool is “developed for you” that can go through the brand product catalog and produce photos and video ads while aligning with the brand identification.
Google plans to show Indian search users ads in AI review
In October 2024, several Google Search users in the United States reported to see ads in the AI review section while searching for some products and recommendations. Tech Dev later officially released advertisements to both mobile and desktop users in the United States, highlighting that only relevant, search -based ads would be offered to users. So far, the company has not extended these ads in any other region.
However, in the GML India event, Google shared its plans to start displaying advertising in the AI review to Indian consumers later this year. There was no mention of a particular timeline when consumers could expect to see them. Just as in the United States, these ads will be presented on both mobile and desktops. In particular, only English language ads will be shown to users.
Google revealed in the incident that globally, more than 1.5 billion people use AI review, and in India, this feature has seen a 10 % strong increase in the type of question that shows these AI-industrial summons. This high exhibition can be behind Google’s decision to increase ads in the AI review.
In the United States, in a specific “sponsored” section, ads in the AI review below the summary. These ads come with a title, a short description, and a shopping link. The products shown are based on search key words.
In addition, Tech Dev is also introducing a new AI AD tool in his product studio, which will be available later this year. The dubbed “prepared for you”, it can automatically identify the highly relevant products from a brand’s catalog and produce photos and videos that are in accordance with the brand identification. Then these AD assets can be used in Google platforms, and advertisers can track their performance. The company said that the AI tool can also analyze the marketing campaign ideas and the trends to propose climate promotion.
