GPD has made a name for itself by building compact gaming consoles and ultra -portable laptops, which often blur the lines between the console and the PC.
Like its devices, One Series and Pocket Line, enthusiasts are also looking for performance in strict shape factors, and in 2024, GPD increased its lineup with dual -screen OLED laptops with the creators’ purpose – we even said that the GPD pair “may be the best mobile workstation so far.”
Now, a new leaked picture that has been viewed Videovards It suggests that GPD can prepare a more expensive thing than that. A Gaming Handheld Handheld Raisen AI Max+ 395 APU at AMD’s high -end.

Concerns related to power performance
The prototype “GPDSTX Hallow Handheld”, which is shared by HXL (see above), shows a 3D mark timpa score of 10,393, with a graphics score of 10,366 and a CPU score of 10,552. This is a steep jump from getting handhelds based on the current Strexpoint.
The chip within it, which is the Razine AI Max+ 395 with Radian 8060S graphics, packs 16 Zen 5 CPU core and 40 RDNA 3.5 computer unit.
It is the most powerful GPU of AMD to date, which has been offered more than twice with GPU hardware, such as Raizen 7 8840U or 8945hs.
Based on the Benchmark data in HXL’s image, GPD’s prototypes can improve the current generation of handhelds of the current generation of existing generation.
However, the power efficiency remains a concern. As Videovards notes, Strex Hello has a default TDP of 120W, which is usually very high for handheld. However, the architecture may be less than 20-25W, and preliminary tests indicate that it still maintains the edge of the performance at the stroke point, even when the throat is squeezed.
It is unclear whether it is nearing being a final product or just an internal test unit because GPD has not yet made any official announcements.
That said, the prototype points to a potential future where handheld consoles offer desktop class power, and we are definitely here for it.
