Google on Wednesday launched a monthly software update for Pixel smartphones. It is based on Android 16 and it is said to take reforms for a two insects discovered in the previous repetition. After updating, Pixel users can expect better Wi -Fi contacts and performance. Google said that as part of the battery performance program, it is also the first Android 16 update for Pixel 6A, which limits the charging capabilities of the handset to minimize the battery over the heat.

On a support page, Google posted details of its monthly software update for July 2025. It arrives as an Over the Year (OTA) update with Blood Number BP2A.250705.008 for global pixel models. Once the update is available, the phone will automatically send a notification.
You can also check manually to update your pixel by navigating Settings> System> Software Update> System Update> Check for updates.
According to Mountain View -based Tech Dev, Android 16 -based updates raise a patch to enhance visual experience in apps such as Android Auto. In addition, there is also a fix that improves the Wi-FI connection stability and efficiency in some terms. However, the company noted that some improvements could be related to a carrier or region.
Google said it is also producing a mandatory update to Android 16 for Pixel 6A, under its battery performance program. The move was announced earlier this month and aims to minimize the risk of heat than the battery, which could pose a potential risk to the owners of the device.
It enables the main features of battery management at Pixel 6A, which will reduce battery capacity and charging efficiency after reaching 400 charge cycles. If a user finds out that their device has been affected by the battery problem, they are eligible for free repairs, cash payments, or trade discounts.

Surprisingly, there is no Android security patch in the Pixel Update in July 2025, while Google has not yet released a list of CVES that were discovered and scheduled.
