Samsung’s second Galaxy Intention event has ended – and it was another big deal for fans of foldable and smart watches.
As (many) leaks and rumors have been predicted, Samsung launches three of the new foldable. The pack was also treated with a more affordable alternative to Z -Flip 7 and Z Flip 7 per (which appears in disguise 6) with a more affordable alternative.
It was not just a big foldable fest, Samsung also provided the Galaxy 8 series. Along with the new Galaxy Watch 8, we also saw the return of Bezel with the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, a smart watch that also makes a very good imitation of the dress watch.

But what else did Samsung reveal (or fail to disclose) What will happen to the last packaged event of 2025? Here are all the big headlines at an easy place …
1. Samsung Galaxy Z Philip 7 finally brings usable core screen to the party
In recent years, it felt as if the Galaxy Z Philip series has been one step behind – but it eventually changes with the new Galaxy Z Philip 7.
Samsung has apparently innovated all the right places with its latest flip foldable, which holds a large, beautiful cover display (now is now 4.1 inches!) And has a strong possession and a more powerful Xinos 2500 chachset upgraded in meaningful longevity.

The internal display of flip 7 has also been developed. At 6.9 inches, it is larger and wider than the inner screen on the Galaxy Z Flip 6, and as we have noted in the Galaxy Z Philip 7 review with our hands, this size increases this size “The phone feels like a galaxy S 25 ultra and like the minimum weird form.”
Other upgrades include a large battery and better water proof, but the Galaxy Z Philip is about about the new display experience – both screens are large and better, and as a result, Samsung’s flip series no longer trails behind the choice of Motorola Roger Ultra.
2. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is a ‘Ultra’ level phone that is cost match

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 was reportedly the star of this latest packaged event. More than just being upgraded, it was already a great improvement on the already mastery of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, as we described in our hands -on Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 review.
Of course there are Power Expected Power Upgrade, this phone has received Snapdragon 8 Elite chip set and – at the upper end – an additional 4GB of RAM. But Samsung has also equipped the Galaxy Z Fold 7 with a new 200 MP primary sniper, and has increased the size of both screens.

Perhaps the most important thing is that it is still the thin and light zid fold, which is only coming in 215 grams (this Samsung Galaxy S is less than an ultra -ultra!), And when folded and 4.2 mm thick, only 8.9 mm thick. But it all comes at a higher price, starting with Galaxy Z Fold 7 with $ 1,999.99 / £ 1,799 AU $ 2,899 – which is $ 100 higher than last year’s phone in the United States and AU is $ 150 more in Australia. For the first time, Samsung has launched an FE version of one of his foldable phones, which has given potential buyers a much cheaper entry point than usual. But if you are keeping an eye on foldable phones, then the Samsung Galaxy Z Philip 7 per year will be surprisingly familiar to you.
The reason for this is that it is basically only the Samsung Galaxy Z Philip 6. It has the same dimensions, weighs the same, and both of them have a 6.7 -inch 120Hz Herbs foldable display and 3.4 -inch 60Hz core screen.
Their cameras are the same (though with justice they also match the camera of the standard Z Philip 7), and both phones have 4,000 mAh battery.
The main differences are merely chip sets and RAM, with Samsung Galaxy Z Philip 7 fee with Snapdragon 8 General 3 and 12GB instead of Acinos 2400 and 8GB. So the new phone is actually less powerful – but its cost is low, which starts with $ 899 / £ 849 / AU $ 1,499. Even if it would be enough to try low -cost buyers.
4. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 is more thin and bright than before
It was not just a phone call – Samsung also exposed something to wear, including the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8, and has a new slum 8.6 mm thick design, and a very bright screen that can reach 3,000 nats.
This is not just hardware that has been upgraded, as the Galaxy Watch 8 also has some new features of software, such as Gemini on your wrist, and a new running coach, who can place you on one of 160 different running projects. Now there is also an antioxidant index, which can give you an idea of whether you are eating enough fruits and vegetables (though you may already know the answer).
This is not all good news-with our hands Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 review notes that for example battery life is very low, but the upgrade is promising. There is also a new classic version for the fans of rotating bells …
5. Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 Classic is the answer to Ultra this year
Last year, Samsung launched the Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra, but instead of getting a new ultra model this year, we have found the Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 classic.
There is a rotating bezel in the classic, like previous classic models, and our hands -on Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 classic review was taken with this. But it also borrows from Ultra, for example, a programable Quick button. And while it is dressed to affect the wear surely, it is not small, which comes to 10.6 mm thick.
Most of the highlights are on the software, the Watch 8 classic packing on wrist Gemini, sleep deprivation detection, and the same new running coach app that contains the Standard Galaxy Watch 8.
In 9 499 / £ 449 / AU $ 899, this is a significant possibility compared to the standard Samsung Galaxy Watch 8, but is sure to bend even more.
6. Google comes in Galaxy Watch 8.
One of the major announcements of the AI in this packaged event was that Google Galaxy Watch will be in the 8 series. And now Google has revealed that Gemini OSOS is roaming all the watches wearing watches, including Oppo, One Plus, Xumi and, of course, Pixel Watches.
This means that you will be able to talk to your phone without a close gym, and allow you to ask your Smart Watch questions using the natural language. The theory, you also get fast, comprehensive answers, but we will want to try it for ourselves before making a decision.
Google says Gemini OS watches will start to wear “in the coming weeks”, as long as your watch is wearing OS4 or more.
7. An UI 8 Rollout is landing soon (for some people)
If it does not feel that since an UI 7 descended, it was not so-Samsung’s Android 15 recently reached December 2024. But a UI 8 will soon take only six months of sticks, in which Z Fold 7 and Z Philip 7 were already installed-which plays on July 25.
So, what is new with a UI 8? As we have added to our recent rumor roundup, you can expect to see many AI improvement in addition to a better AI Audio Ezar. These include a more powerful Gemini direct feature (now available on the Flex window of Z. Philip 7) and a better version of the Circle Two Search, which can tap in Google’s AI mode for more deeper answers to your questions.
One of our major response questions, though, is exactly when an UI 8 Galaxy S25 like will roll out in old Samsung devices? Samsung did not pay attention to his latest packaged, which would make it upset that he could drag a UI 7 into a similar vein.
8. The z fold 7 ss the pen to mess up
(Image Credit: Future / Carlos Peders)
This year, another controversial piece of news of Samsung’s second packed news is that Z Fold 7 has left the support of the Sen. Why? It all helps this thin foldable design.
By digging the digitiser layer in the display that supports the S pen, the Samsung Z Folder has managed to get only 8.9 mm thick when down the fold and opens only 4.2 mm. For some people, the lack of support for the pen would be a disturbing compromise, but Samsung clearly thinks that it is worthy that is worth it.
To be fair, the Z -Fold Series has never come with the pen, nor did it have any slot where you can remove someone. It was also possible to use it on a foldable internal display instead of a core display. But Samsung may have faced the wrath of power consumers who view the fold series as its old note family’s natural heritage.
9. Samsung’s trumpet foldable is still not ready for prime time
We hoped that Samsung would officially respond to Huawei Matt Xt (Top) Packed in 2025, but the wait continues (Image Credit: Huawei)
All the stars were pointing to an official teaser of the Samsung Galaxy Tri -Foldable, or G -Fold because it has been said in rumors, in this packaged 2025 event. But we didn’t even find a five -second trailer.
It was disappointing, as in recent times we showed the first symbols of the tri -foldable in an UI 8, as well as with reliable rumors about mass production in September. Because of this, we were forced to think that Samsung would at least start making a hype for its next major foldable design.
But the reason is not why he did not do, including the expected immunity of the Tree Foldable. Not only is it a rumor for the prohibition of prohibition (early whispers, predicted tags in the region of 000 3,000- $ 3,500), a chance that it can only be sold in South Korea and China, initially.
If this is the case, then in a global event like Packed 2025 does not have less meaning. But we are no less excited to see it later this year.
