The company’s latest mid -range smartphone has arrived as the successor of One Plus Nord 5, One Plus Nord 4, which was introduced a year ago. This handset brings some significant improvement than its predecessor, including more capable Snapdragon 8 series chapters and slightly better cameras. However, the middle range is extremely competitive, especially around the rupee. 30,000 marks, Poko F7, Motorola Edge 60 Pro, Samsung Galaxy A36 5G, IQO Nine 10R, and nothing with notable competitors like Phone 3A Pro.
RS on price. 8 GB RAM and 256GB of storage base model 31,999, One Plus Nord 5 is also available with 256GB and 512GB storage variations with 12 GB RAM, which is priced at RS. 34,999 and RS. 37,999 respectively. In this review, let’s see if the handset is worth the demand or is less than my expectations.

The last month’s OnePlus 13s is no longer the company’s only handset, which includes the key to the new plus. This new button, located on the left edge of the phone, replaces the alert slider of the OnePlus, and has its own advantages and disadvantages. You can re -produce it to perform various functions, including the Plus Mind feature, in which we have added our One Plus 13s reviews. However, when you are playing the game, it is easy to make, the key to the Plus is easy to make.
New Plus Key on OnePlus Nord 5
Although its predecessor features aluminum chassis (which we really like), One Plus Nord 5 contains a glass -rear panel that has a plastic panel, and marble sand that the company sent for this review is good. It’s a bit lubricant to keep it, so I used a TPU cover that uses the phone to keep the ship safe. The phone has a 6.83 -inch screen, and it occasionally needs to use both hands (I have a large hand).
The OnePlus Nord 5 includes a 6,800mAh battery, but you will not be able to tell by looking at the phone, which doesn’t feel too heavy. Both the power and the volume rocker were easy to reach with my thumb, but the pulse key is out of reach when using the phone with one hand. The upper part of the phone has an infrared transmitter that can control different devices, while the bottom edge has a speaker, SIM tray, and USB type C port.
One Plus Nord 5 Software: Smooth, I include some AI features

One Plus Nord scores 5 oxygosis 15, based on Android 15. This is the same software that runs on the company’s flagship One Plus 13, and also offers some AI features to help with the OnePlus 13. The phone is about to get four years OS upgrades and six years of security updates, which means it is expected to upgrade in Android 19.
Oxygenus 15 on One Plus Nord 5
I received 12GB +256GB configuration of OnePlus Nord 5, and it is much better when it comes to daily use. The dynamic images are sharp, and keeps the handset apps and sports in memory, even when you switch to four or five other apps, which is good to see. Handset indicated me to install some third party apps during the setup process, including Amazon and Candy Crash: Saga, but it allowed me to unleash these apps.
The key to the new Plus on OnePlus Nord 5 can be used to launch the company’s new One Plus AI Sweet. This includes a new pulse mind functionality, which whenever the key is pressed, saves information about context from screenshots. Although it does not always detect viable material, some tips are quite simple, such as adding calendar events when a date is detected.
The features of AI from OnePlus 13s are also available on Nord 5
Other features of OnePlus AI, such as AI Vickerbee, AI Call Assistant, and AI Translation, are also supported by One Plus Nord 5. I have covered these apps and how they work when I review the OnePlus 13S, and these are the features that are available on this handset. You can use it to store information from apps, translate web pages using the popup menu, and get your calls to summarize your calls using new sounds.
One Plus says it will use the company’s private computing cloud to protect the user’s information provided to access the features of AI within a reliable and isolated framework. You also have support for the Circle to find with the AI review on Google and the Circle with access to Google Gemini on OnePlus Nord 5.
One Plus Nord 5 Performance: Last gene, but better

This is the company’s first Nord series smartphone that is adorned with Snapdragon 8s General 3 chip sets, and this is a significant upgrade to Snapdragon 7+ General 3, which strengthened last year’s Nord 4 model. It is an octal cover chip that has a 3GHz clock speed, and it is made using TSMC’s 4NM process technology.

One Plus says the company used a chip launched on Nord 5 in 2024 when it worked with the company to support 144hz OLED screens and support sharp frames in specific sports. Although this may be the case, I doubt the real reason that this phone does not send the new Snapdragon 8s with General 4 Sak (such as Poko F7) is that it will offer a more expensive One -Plus 13R performance, which runs on the Snapdragon 8 General 3 chip set.
However, the Snapdragon 8s General 3 on One Plus Nord 5 is no shortage. It can run any CPU and graphics extremely app or game, which includes editing and exporting 4K videos, or playing voting waves and call of duty: playing games like mobile. Oxygenus feels better, and I just did not make any turmoil or back in the phone test.

The OnePlus Nord 5 with a refresh rate up to 144Hz is a 6.83-inch Fil-HD+ (1,272 × 2,800 pixels) AMOLED Screen, which is a step by the previous year’s model. One Plus says the display supports 1,800nits peak brightness, and the outskirts are good. It also becomes quite dim at night, without pressure in the eyes.

I switch to all the phones that I use in the “standard” display color, and the panel on One Plus Nord 5 provides less dynamic (but more accurate) color. The handset display also features corning guerrilla glass 7I protection, but I recommend using it with the added cover to prevent damage to the previous panel.

I spent about a month testing the cameras on One Plus Nord 5, and the 50 -megapixel is the most capable in the primary camera handset. It allows you to click on photos on 1x and 2x (the latter is a sensor crop) Zoom surface, and supports optical image stability (OIS).

During the day, One Plus Nord occupies 5 bright and detailed shots, and the colors are catching properly. When the arrest button is pressed, there is no significant delay, and the images are saved immediately. This OnePlus is the same Sony Late 700 primary sensor at 13S, and it offers the same level of speed on 2x zoom for subjects that are slightly ahead.
In low -light scenarios, as long as your article still remains, it occupies decent shots. There is a lot of details here, even when you zoom in. The built -in night mode occupies images in just one second, and can be closed for sharp shots.

The ultra -wide camera on One Plus Nord 5 also offers decent performance during the day, which has the least warping on the edges. Low light performance is not as good as the primary camera, but unless your article is moving forward, these shots are still quite usable.
You want to stay with the primary camera on One Plus Nord 5, which allows you to record at 4K/60fps. However, if you want to enable ultra -stable mode, it falls to 1080p/30fps, which is also a maximum resolution through ultra -wide camera.
Nord 5 has a 50 megapixel selfie camera, which has Samsung Icel JN5 sensor. It is perfect to capture images and videos, and facial sharp features are turned off as default. If you prefer to use ultra -stable mode, it also allows you to capture videos at 4K/60fps or 1080p/30fps.
OnePlus Nord 5 Battery: Welcome to Upgrade

One Plus has equipped Nord 5 with a large single -sale 6,800mAh battery, which is upgraded to 5,500mah cell on its predecessor. Effective Snapdragon 8s, along with General 3 chip, can use the battery for up to a day and a half. During the time when I spent using a smartphone, it included gaming three hours, scrutiny through social media, watching videos on YouTube, and texting on WhatsApp.
One Plus Nord 5 provides one -and -a -half of battery life on a single charge
This handset lasted for 27 hours and 15 minutes during our HD video battery loop test, and the PC Markwork 3.0 battery life bench mark continued for 14 hours and 26 minutes. This is an artificial test, and the use of real -world battery will be different based on your use. The OnePlus Nord takes about 58 minutes to 63 minutes in full charge, when the added 80W sproed charging adapter.
OnePlus Nord 5: Decision
With a meaningful upgrade on your predecessor, OnePlus Nord is one of the better options, if you want to spend about Rs. 30,000 on your next smartphone. It offers reliable CPU and camera performance, and lasting battery life, as well as cooperation for sharp charging. I miss the All Metal design of One Plus Nord 4, but the latest model offers coffee in terms of upgrades around the same price.

Poko F7 is the largest competitor to Nord 5, and is more powerful Snapdragon 8s General 4 chip and large 7,550mAh battery. However, I would suggest whether to wait for our handset review to see if its camera performance is compared to Nord 5.
Other hand sets worth considering this price section include Motorola Edge 60 Pro, IQOO NEO 10, Vivo V50 (Review), and Samsung Galaxy A36. You can also consider the Samsung Galaxy S24, which often falls under Rs. 35,000 marks
